I really love their relationship, so heart warming.

When you discover that Kaede has adored/understood and deeply loved Renge since before she could even walk or talk you realise they probably have the deepest, purest affection for each other of any of the superbly crafted characters that make NNB so subtly brilliant. For me its the joint greatest S.O.L in anime history, tying with the very different K-On.

Yes, there is something infectious about it. I also think Natsumi doesn't get enough credit for being the one to look out for Renge the most (at least for the kids). She is the next youngest, so Natusmi pays more attention to Renge than any of the older kids.

That’s the funny thing about it. She’s called Candy Store since she’s a kid.

this anime is so chill that it's my gotot anime when I'm presured with different problems of life

Kaede is like Ren-chon's substitute mom. I don't think over the 3 seasons you ever see her parents anywhere but the important moments in Ren-chon's life i.e. 1st time Riding a Bike, Kaede is always there.... Plus with the 2 new kids they introduced I'd hope Ren acts like big sister to Shiori and the new baby.

Dont get into a figth with ren-chon. She had the cute power of a small kid.

The fact that Candy Store shares the same VA as Misaka Mikoto (from Index/Railgun) justifies her _tsundere_ act.

i love the rivalry between natsu and kaede

Something I loved about this anime, more specifically of Kaede, is how expresive she is with corporal language despite her abrasive attitude. The humor of this anime(and language) helps to cover it, but Dagashii is a really rude character, specially when coming from Japan. The seiyu did a remarkable job depicting her as an unfriendly and yet kind person. That's why she can't refuse Renge. She's often so quiet and calm, but showed a lot of interest and caring for Dagashi to a point where that's something very precious to her because, as I said, she's really rude, so you can imagine that little bit of love is enough to change her attitude a little

I just love that Candy Store doesn't have a big chest. Its so realistic. I love the artstyle on this. Seems stable and balance. The transition from happy to sad from Ren is realistic tho haha!xD
