Im 23 and Been trying to find this song for nearly 20 years, only had a 3 second snip of the intro guitar riff off an old Sony video recorder of my dad's when I was riding with him In his truck in 2000. Lost him In 2001 when I was 3. This song is magical as it brings me back to a time where I had him in my life and glad to have finally found this song. Much love to all.

My husband of 30 years passed away 6 weeks ago.... my heart is still so damn raw. We used to sit in front of his stereo with huge ass speakers listening to this, along with lots of other great rock, grunge, alternative for hours and hours. I miss him so much. I wish for each of you to find the kind of love we shared. Marry your best friend!!! I love you Mert 💔

I’m sorry for your loss but 30 years, that’s awesome!!! You both had something super special. It takes a lot of work and intentional acts to be married that long. My wife and I just celebrated 20 years in November of 2021 and I work everyday to make her the jewel of my eye. You were so blessed to be together that long. May you see him again when you’re called home. PS: Candlebox takes me right back to my high school years in the 90’s. Awesome jams!

Why?
I'm 27 and I didnt know that I've been searching for this song for my entire life. I literally cried when the radio played it. It reminds me of, me and my Step-dad bonding over video games. But I couldn't understand the words because the speakers in my 2005 ford explorer are trash, but then the very last lines came in clear as day and I took a gamble, and typed in "left me far behind." I Miss You Dad And I just wanna thank God quite literally
❤❤❤❤ 2023 n still pumping this ❤❤❤❤❤
Lost a childhood friend today...I hope she found some peace
My dad passed away 5 months ago and I remember he would listen to the radio and this song would play coming home from work in the morning I would use his car to go to work and I’m happy I found this song RIP pops reminds me of him a lot..

Amazing how music can have such an impact on our thinking
The Seattle grunge era was a good era. Lots of good music came from there. Especially considering it all came out before auto tune and pro tools. It's just pure talent.
Been listening since the 90s still jamming at 46
I was born in the 1990's and love all the music. I was raised on all types of good rock. This is real music. Rock on.

This (along with the Temple Of The Dog album) was a tribute to Andy Wood, singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. After Andy died, Mother Love Bone became Pearl Jam. RIP Andrew Wood.

Some legendary songs were written about wood as tributes, Jerry Cantrell wrote would? About Andy and then say hello 2 heaven from the temple of the dog album and then this song far behind. All great songs and very popular, I think would? Is the best of the bunch but all 3 are classics.
In the mid 90’s there was a night club in downtown Tampa called Hammerjacks. The DJ would always end the night with this song. Brings back great memories.
One of the best songs still in 2021! Music nowadays has lost what it is. Money, power, wtf. Wake up people
Oh man. Does this one bring back the feels for me
Everytime I listen to this song I think of my mom she passed away from cancer it came back and she didn't tell me. I miss her so much I feel so lost without her here.
this song makes me cry so much
Saw Candlebox live at Summerfest in Milwaukee September 2021. I’ve seen more live concerts than believable and sincerely, the lead singer sang “Far Behind” and it was arguably the best live vocal performance I’ve ever seen. Guitarist absolutely shredded the solo too, and the singer’s high notes and screams were bar none A1 INCREDIBLE. Hats off, don’t think I can think of many others who can still do it this well. Stupendous performance fellas!
I had this song stuck in my head for 2 days took me two days to find it awesome
I just found out my best friend from Junior high and high school died in November. She was 42 just like me. I've been feeling suicidal lately and I dreamt about her last night. I dreamt that we hadn't seen each other in so long and we just embraced. We couldn't let go. I woke up and Googled her name and now I'm so fucking heartbroken.

I have always had suicidal ideation and when i found out someone i cared deeply for took his own life in November it was a sucker punch to everyone who knew him. When you're in the depths of despair it's hard to believe the devastation that will be left behind for others to carry. Condolences on the loss of your friend💔

As you tripped the firing line……my 13 yr old girls mother was a life long meth user and 3 years ago she doused a car with gasoline jumped in and did the deed. They kept her alive for about 4 days. You’ve never seen in a movie what a body looks like after that kind of burning, ……please don’t ever use any drugs, any!!!! There is a God and He is Good and desires our love but loves us infinitely more!
