Thank you Sheri! Interesting about frosting, good to know! Q: what can cause higher flame? I made some beeswax candles for the first time and added fine pieced of herbs also, was comparing 2 types of wixes. One candle burned with quite a restless high flame. Wonder what can help to ensure it is safe (I might edit and upload that video in later weeks).

Hi, Sheri. I have been watching candle-making videos for a while. And been thinking about it. I bought a wax melting pot few days ago and first time tried candle making myself. Most part were fine, the kitchen smells like wax for the whole afternoon but I did made some candle, so it is success I guess. But there is a thing that been making me worried. So I have heard some people say if you heat the wax over 200F, the wax is gona be overheated and start ... trun in to a yellow or dark color and be bad? I set 190F as the heating temp, and I check temperature the whole time of wax melting. I find out the actual temp of heating the wax can go to 230F, even 280F at some monment. But the candles I made looks fine, so I wanna to ask pros like you. It is okay to heat up wax to 280F during melting? And it is normal that the wax pot would get over its setting?

Hi Sheri! I wanted to ask you about buying wholesale jars for candles. Do you have a company you recommend? Or any brands that you prefer to get jars from? I want jars that are a little bit on the wider side so I can decorate them more on the surface. I have been struggling to find what I am looking for. Thank you!!
