FYI Artists that promote their work here don't answer questions like "what do you use, where do you get your materials, how do you do that, what's the secret to..etc.." This isn't an instructional video, this is his business. It's not appropriate to expect him to help others learn to make products that he sells.

I'm not trying to be critical of anyone asking questions-just want you to understand why you're unlikely to get answers. I'm an online craft seller & we get overwhelmed with people asking questions about how to make our products. You may not want to sell them but competitors can watch our videos too.

Very nice, I've always admired this kind of candle sculpting. I used to watch a local candlemaker when I was a kid in the 80s. I learned a lot about "intent" just by watching.

Good question Charli. I spin the candle so that I do not have to turn the candle each time I have to make a cut or fold. I can just let go of the bottom and since the wick is wound fairly tight the candle will turn to the next cut. I make all cuts and folds then wind the wick back up for another row. Plus looks kinda flashy to do. :) Bruce

well its understandable. when you grow up with so much prettiness, one day its just to much! :'o that's probably why they lost interest in candles. they just couldn't handle it! xD and don't pay attention to haters. it looks great, and i would love to be able to make something like that. haters are probably just jealous. ^^

The work has to be done that fast because the wax cools quickly. it's not quality vs quantity, that's just the limits of this art form.

Hi thanx for ur prompt reply! I Have used candlewic glaze Ive had people complain that it tends to peel after some time. I once purchased a candle from pocono house of candles they used a thin glaze it dipped evenly without any streams running down the candle and i've had it for 3 years and its like new! do you think the floor wax would do a better job? I once tried some floor finish or something but it didnt stick to the candle it just ran right of after being dipped? Any suggestions?
