    great vid - straight shooter approach. I do ask candidates who are active to keep me posted on changes with the other job interview process - like moving to 2nd round, heading into the final round - so I can keep my client informed

    Good content here, thanks for posting! Personally, I would qualify before describing the role and not the other way around. I wanna pitch based on his/her hot buttons and surely wouldn't describe the role based on what the client is looking for, but rather on what's in it for the candidate. With me, the first few minutes would be all about trying to pinpoint the buying motive and the mental obstacles, and only after that, I would introduce the job (provided there is some fit).

    The probability of someone picking up calls is less than getting in touch with them on LinkedIn/ other job portals. At least that's my experience.
