awwww Candice I never churched and banned from all religion completely and in a beach town. I really feel the ban was completely justified and church abuse made from one or two abusers disguised as a priest destroy all trust in faith. Heck…. I went to college to study the Bible and was so turned off by what I saw that I left without one. Don’t worry too much. It took me some time to figure out my Christian faith was something more than what some of the leaders I experienced in college were saying and doing. I had other professors that left me with a wealth of knowledge that made my faith grow stronger than ever. Let your prodigal be but keep the doors open.

Parents do a great job taking their kids to church and youth group and tell them they have to believe in God just because. They fail at giving their own kids the reason and an answer for why they believe what they believe.

I'm sure you did, at some time prior to about 1962. Unfortunately, that's no longer possible as a legal matter, but the attempt to restore bible reading and teaching in public schools is the dumbest of all possible efforts. We should all withdraw our children from the government schools, and DEMAND the right to do so. Homeschooling and parental choice in education is the civil rights issue of the future. And the future is now.

In a public primary school I worked for, the Golden Rule “Do to others what you would want done to you” is replaced by “Be Nice”, and a psychologist who spends an hour a week trying to socialize children.

Start demanding the fundamental right of parents to choose and direct the education of their children. Demand that your state repeal the compulsory school attendance law, and parents' right to homeschool their children as they see fit, or to choose the kind of education THEY, the parents, want for them. The so-called "public schools" are dinosaurs from the 19th century, and nothing more than government indoctrination centers, where they are propagandized in socialist, Marxist lies, introduced to illicit drugs, beaten by other "students," and encouraged to hate the parents and families.

@@user-co2li1vd5di love God I do but I don’t think I deserve his forgiveness. I mean I’ve done horrible things. I’ve list my temper and have literally hurt people. I was manipulative at times out of desperation to find someone to love me, and all the hurt and loss of hood turned into anger and overwhelming feelings and I have these moments of breaking down. I try so hard and beg God to fix these loss of control problems but I don’t know how to handle all these emotions. Ive never been allowed to express them without my parents or spouse hitting me or scaring me, so I keep it to myself and blow up on my kids . They’re grown now and I can’t go back fix all the hurt from yelling and cutting myself around them and just all the broken stuff I done. If I was Gid I’d hate me too

Jesus Christ came to earth, He was the image of The Invisible God, Deity wrapped in human skin. He came to be a sacrifice, to take all of our sins upon Himself, past present and future, of ALL mankind. He lived a sinless life, and became the sacrificial lamb of God, God poured out His wrath upon Jesus, all the wrath for all the sins, because He hates sin, and He is Holy and nobody can stand before Him unless they are innocent. Jesus bought and paid for that ticket, the ticket called "innocence". We MUST go through Christ, there is NO other way. God doesnt hate you, He LOVES you, so much, you wouldnt even be able to comprehend it! Thats why He sent His only Son, Jesus, to take all of your sin, brokeness and pain. He can set you FREE! Then He will begin to heal your deep, old wounds. He is doing all of that for me..Just confess your sins to Jesus, ask Him to come into your heart, to forgive you, to heal and be born again into a new life, then you too will have hope, and a future!!

Eric Metaxas was right when he said Catholicism is a cult. There are Catholic Christians but most believe Catholicism is the only faith and pray rote prayers, pray to Mary and feel the need to confess sins to a priest for forgiveness. However, as Protestants we believe we don’t need an intermediary to confess sins but can do that directly to the Lord. There’s no need for penance after confessing sins because our sins are forgiven when Jesus died on the cross for us. We are forgiven daily when we confess our sins to Him. We don’t need the help of Mary or other saints because we have the Holy Spirit living in us to guide us and strengthen us in our daily lives.

No. We protestants do not confess daily to God thru Jesus. The Bible tells us that when we truly repent on an issue, we are forgiven and God forgets the sin and that is the end of it. We do not need to "confess" and ask for forgiveness over and over again. No. 🙏

I’m not catholic, I am a bible believing Christian. By Christ’s example in how we should pray, it’s very clear that we are to ask for forgiveness for sins and forgive others who sin against us…we have committed sin daily ( which does obviously involve “confession” if we repent). That’s not a catholic word, it’s a biblical word, that’s been twisted into wrongful theology, but we don’t neglect using it because it’s been misused. James 5:16 is clear in context that we still are to “confess” sins …even one to another & especially to the Lord who is able to forgive through the finished work of Christ.

One thing from the start... That item that Eric refers to as a "cross", is actually called a crucifix! A cross doesn't have an image of Yeshua hanging on it, it serves as a reminder. That's actually considered idol worship by many. As a newborn Christian I had several of them in my home. However, as I grew in my Christian faith, I got rid of them. Not because someone said that to have one is idol worship, but because I heard someone say, "My Jesus is no longer on that cross, my Jesus LIVES!" and THAT resonated with me.

My mother is from Canada and always talks of the Anglican Church. My husband was raised Catholic and became born again 35 years ago. As a born-again Christian, not a Catholic because of the book of John, John 10:16; John 3:16-17; Luke, Acts 2:36-44, Ephesians 4:2-6,and more. These speak of one God, one faith, and unity in the Spirit. According to these, which predate the official Catholic Church, we are to be one in the faith-Christ-followers, Christians, His Holy Church. Where did the word “Catholic” come in? Catholic simply means, for all. Yet I reject the praying to saints, the Bible does not teach that but is against it. “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me,”Exodus 20:3. One faith. Just one. Anyone can research it.

I feel like we have come to the end of times on earth. Second coming of Jesus around the corner.

Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Who is the “son” that is the “heir” to the land in Matthew 21:37-43? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. God is not now a “racist”. Why would you think Candace Owens is a bigot? I'm gonna guess and say you are "triggered" by her opinions. That's emotional thinking, NOT Critical Thinking. Catholics have some innovations I don't agree with, but many are as dedicated to the Lord as anyone else. In many ways Catholics and Protestants share many core doctrines but use terminology differently and talk past each other. You don't know what a cult is. It is an innovation. Many sociologists would say that Christianity is a cult offshoot of ancient Judaism. So being a cult is not necessarily a bad thing. So stop with the bashing of others, who are closer to you than the Wokies today, who we all must defeat.

Candace’s husband, George Farmer, has been friends with Andrew Tate for a very long time. It’s also rumoured that Farmer is involved in Tate’s grifting War Room scheme. It seems very strange that a guy like Farmer, who is from serious money, became friends such a long time ago with a thug like Tate. How did they meet exactly? This was before Tate was famous. Is this the reason for Candace’s softball interview with Tate, where she didn’t challenge a single one of his claims? Is it also the reason she devoted an entire episode of her show to trying to discredit one of Tate’s accusers? And why did she beep out the names of the men who were convicted of the statutory rape of the accuser? Why is Candace so interested in protecting pedophiles? Does Tate have something on her husband and is threatening to expose him if Candace doesn’t run cover for Tate? And why did Candace and Farmer get engaged after meeting each other a total of 2 or 3 times? There is something very odd about this couple.

Agree with you 💯 carlosgonzales. Candace changes her story depending on who's interviewing her. I could smell her antisemitism from here and I live at the ends of the earth! She used scripture to antagonise, to provoke and to goad. No glory to God there. Make no mistake, God will use it for his glory, but I don't see Candace glorifying God, I see her being divisive.

When exactly has Candace EVER said isreal was committing a genocide? Yes she has been outspoken about disagreeing to The mass murder of children as a result of isreals assault on Gaza, as EVERYONE SHOULD regardless of wether it is isreal or Gaza. she also disagrees with the US getting involved in isreal, ukraine, or any foreign nations conflict. But she has literally refused to use the word conflict because in her words “the term is irrelevant to the reality of whats going on there.” Idk if it’s selective hearing or blatant lying but you will never find a tweet of her accusing isreal of committing a genocide BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ONE!

Eric, i follow you and did follow Candace until she started condemning Israel's stand. I agree with her on many issues but Israel. Someone needs to go over church history with her. God's nation is Israel and His chosen people are the Jews. I am disappointed that this was not brought into the cinversation.

@LarryBuchm... Have you read Walter Martin's " Kingdom Of The Cults"? Its 1st edition is the authority for young seminarians for eons. 2nd Edition(1997) is available on Audible and removed the RCC from the cult list. It was a political move which I believe was a trade-off with Ravi Zacharias in order that he might author and narrate the Foreword. Cults have secret beliefs, doctrines, and practices which they keep hidden. That's a cult in the simplest terms.

I have an MA in Comparative Religion, and years ago, my professor was the late Dr. Rodney Stark, a greatly respected sociologist of religion and expert in cults. A cult is merely a new group that uses an established religion's terminology, symbols, or practices in a novel or innovative way. A cult is not a break-away (a schism) from a culturally established religion - that would be a sect. It is a new construct. It is an academically neutral term. When people use the term in the popular media, they usually are thinking of an authoritarian cult led by a dictatorial leader (like the Love Israel cult of the 1980s in the Pacific Northwest) or a leadership group (like Scientology). Dr. Stark started his career studying the Moonies and dispelled many media misconceptions prevalent in the 1960s and 1970s - and even today. See "The Future of Religion, Stark and Bainbridge,1985, p. 25)

@@michaelbabbitt3837 I have my understanding of the definition of a "cult". i wanted a clear definition in ordinary terms. I thank you for your scholarly attempt. I think a few examples of real life cults in a discussion would be helpful for most listeners.

Do you know what he will help with his children? And the church do you know that you have sermons like last two or three hours to dedicate and volunteer by two or three hours to teach the children to read and write all children that would be a helpful and so the Lord would appreciate it because teachers are in the church and they can help the children sometimes the parents dead it’s hard for single parents too, and I believe that will help a lot the children and use the Bible as the book when I was here young I didn’t know much on my English. I cannot read properly by hearing the sermon and writing. He helped me so that will help the children because the Bible basic.GOD blessyou Candace

Msy th3 Holy Spirit free her from the Spirit of hate and self-righteousness. She is hunger for power and jewish destruction, hence she signed her alligeance to the oldest powerful political institution located in Vatican City. That's all she is after.

Let's be clear, a catholic or any other religious denomination is NOT A SAVED PERSON for GOD. Jesus states it clearly, in John 3, it doesn't matter how religious a person is, like Nicodemus was in John 3, if a person is not born again of The Spirit of God, this person is not saved, this person is not going to heaven, this person has not repent and has not recognized Christ as his only God and Saviour. If Candace's husband converted to Catholicism he didn't convert to Christ but to a religion. John 3 : 3 Jesus replied, “I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3 : 5 Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3 : 7 Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.

We must pray for both of them, to really find The Lord and be REALLY SAVED. For that there is only ONE GOSPEL TO OBEY. "Acts 2 : 38 “Repent,” Peter said to them, “and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

They conceal the history of the Christian religion because it will show that their movement did not originate from the apostles. It is necessary for them to negate history because St. Paul warned us not to accept teachings that did not originate from the apostles Gal.1:8 and Born Again Movement evidently cannot trace the history of their church into the time of the apostles.Clearly Born Again evangelization has deception as its chief foundation and they even used selected passages from the Bible to deceive people.
