Sorry about the echo on the sound. I moved my office around and took down the curtains to give me better light, but forgot that I need the curtains to absorb the sound reverb. Curtains are now back up, along with some cushions!

I'm happy to wait. Tomorrow I have my last radiation treatment after a 7 month journey with breast cancer. I then have follow up appointments every six months for 5 years. I'm happy to wait. It's a journey, not a tv commercial. I love having a cuppa with you Julie 💕

Hi Julie, thank you so much. Always very insightful. Interesting about the deceit card. My wife and I were supposed to have had a few days away. But she became sick and someone tried to break into our car. The money we had put aside for our short break was consumed repairing the car so it meant that we couldn’t just postpone our break but we have had for forego it entirely. So right now I feel deceived by the Universe. We spent some time planning this break … chose a lovely location - booked well ahead … and nope - something came up … so back to work we go. This is not the first time that this has happened …. Indeed, it has become somewhat of a pattern, there is always something that stops us from being able to take a break - either health or money or both …. So right now we both figure - forget it … no point in planning a break - something always comes along …. And we also figure that God, the Universe or whatever has a mischievous sense of humour. They/it loves to pass out the popcorn and laugh at humanity’s misfortunes - small and large. Really not sure what to make of it all. My wife is reading your book “From Hoping to Having” and she has been finding some solace in your wonderful book. I haven’t started yet. But we are both bewildered by recent events … (To give full context my wife has been in a medical battle for her life … one that thankfully she (we) are winning. And just four days away would have been a delicious break. I just hope that God / the Universe or whatever has had a great laugh at our expense. If They / It has, then at least it was funny for someone …
