yeah I had an uncle that had surgery his son my cousin had surgery. my dad did the same exact radiation 24 years ago. just a bit more old school. my urologist at the VA he had surgery. but told me the radiation treatment was the better choice for me. he was glad that I chose radiation. but with all this. I had to get an injection of estrogen. in my stomach. and kind of stays there with you as a bump. and slowly gets into your body. in hopes of shrinking your prostate with a female hormone. it was funny my urologist told me don't worry you won't grow boobs!

Oh yeah. This is nothing compared to the infections and constant urinary issues I used to have. It's just a 6 week inconvenience to my routine.

its the reason I went tis way. nothing close to what I've been thru before with infections weekly, and piss running down my leg!

yep, almost done wore it out. I had it with me full of ice & water. The treatment works best with a full bladder. Then went inside and they hand me a bottle of water!! I was busting by the time I left!

God speed, Capt Dave. My buddy had good luck with UF Health in Jax. They took care of his prostate cancer almost two years ago ,he's been doing real well.

I'm 1/2 way thru it....it's a whole new schedule for me, hard to get used to driving so far every morning at 6:30am. Planning on a ''helpful to others''video soon.

well, I was talking dermatologists. I've had a torn retina, double cataracts, enlarged prostate, Urinary infections, and so much more. If it wasn't for them I'd destitute, and dead.

well, I'm sure he's consulted with many Urologists. I opted for the 6 weeks of radiation Monday thru Friday, because my dad did all this 24 yrs ago. And he said it wasn't bad at all. The surgery (taking out prostate) leaves ya with 6 weeks of doing nothing. I call that bankruptcy.... hahahahaha. Plus, I had the turp procedure, the augering out my enlarged prostate several yrs ago, which prior to that "relief", wasn't fun, at all. And the surgeon kinda skipped a beat, when I told him I had that done a few yrs ago. My dad's 84 with kidney failure, besides the skin cancer getting cut out, his prostate cancer is gone, with no issues. Thanks for sharing 👍👍probably the first time ever for any of my "low view" videos. (?)
