Canal Fishing For Perch With Lures

In this episode, we return to the canal to catch perch using lures on our ultralight gear. Within this video, we've merged two productive fishing sessions into one, ensuring you'll have lots of catches to enjoy.
We primarily relied on creature baits. Our tried and tested craw in a vibrant June bug colour, rigged on a cheb, proved to be the winning formula once more.
We managed to catch a number of Perch, Rudd and the smallest pike I've ever caught.

Glad you're enjoying the videos 👍. We've been finding quite a few wasps this summer, which is fairly rare for this stretch, so it was nice to catch a bit of a chunkier one. Tight lines mate! 🎣

Cheers, glad you enjoyed it 👍. On that day, it was about 25°C. When it's like that, everything seems to come to life on the canal, which is great to see.

Cheers! 👍 When it comes to fishing the canal, the bait caster is now my first choice. I never thought that would be the case, but I'm really enjoying using it. I still get the odd backlash, but it's mainly when I cast my lure into a wall or a bridge 🙄. Hope you're enjoying BFS. Yes, perch seem to love the creature baits. The 1.5" micro crayfish in Junebug colour seems to be their favourite.
Sorry to bother you, new to lure fishing and finding all the choice of lures confusing. What is the make of the Creature baits you are using please?
