Harman Bath lol! My uncle said the same thing! :) I honestly just didn’t want to commute because I live really close to York, but it’s a really great school. A girl from my graduating class is doing her iBBA there right now.

itswynette I’m in the faculty of social science and I specialized in Anthropology for the coming year :) Definitely excited to be taking courses that I’m actually interested in next year and yes I love Mac!

Is the Business at Mac does have COOP and international Exchange option?

I came back to this video because I have to make a decision soon on which uni to go to in the fall and im 90% committed to mac's business. I just wanted to know, you mentioned your parents went there, was it for business too? If so how was it like for them? did they easily find jobs after? (sorry if this seems like a personal question, if it is you don't have to answer) im a little stressed with which program to pick because I really want to succeed in the future

Hi! Yeah my parents went to mac for commerce. It was a pretty long time ago lol but they both found jobs within a year and have good jobs now. It's really different now and if anything, the program has improved. I know a lot of fourth years who had jobs lined up for them since fall 2019.

came back to this video to tell you that I got into Mac business! It's definitely an option for me. However, I also got into Queen's, York, Ryerson, and Carleton for business. I'm still waiting on Sauder but from this mix, which one would you say is the best?

@@itswynette thanks for replying :D I get that a lot but I'm not sure which factors are important to take into consideration when I'm making that decision. Every university seems to have co-op and the specialisation that I want to do. All the campuses are amazing! I don't know on what basis to decide which one's the best for me.

I got my offer from Mac in late Feb. Deadline to accept is somewhere in May or June.

Hi wynette, i watch your videos all the time, they are really helpful. Right now im stuck 50/50 between laurier bba and western bmos w/aeo. I just want to know what your criteria was when choosing your school. Also with everyone always saying ivey is the best school and is so amazing ....what made you comfortable with rejecting the offer, im scared i might regret not going later on. Hi Mikhail! Thanks for watching my vids :) It was hard rejecting AEO b/c of the opinions of others. I realized that in the end, it matters where I feel most comfortable and where I can succeed most. I just didn't feel like the AEO format was for me. you can only go to a place where you'll be happy. I didn't want to be under constant stress at Western. My only advice is to make the decision based on how YOU feel, not others. B/c I am really happy with mine :) Also the degree is what you make it. I know people at Laurier working at Goldman Sachs so you can def succeed anywhere you go.

Nice video, I also chose the DeGroote business as my university on OUAC 3days ago. I refused Western, waterloo, toronto, Alberta and Dalhousie, then I chose McMaster!!!!! Hahahah !!! Hope we can meet in the future!

hey, I applied to Ivey and am still waiting to hear back from them. I've currently completed 5 grade 12 courses. I got a high 70 in one of the courses (which I wasn't planning to use in my top 6). Do you know how ivey would calculate my average before midterms come out, would they use all 5 courses, or just use my top 3 from them? Thanks!

@@itswynette Sorry worded that wrong lol! I did one course in grade 11, one course in summer, and 3 first semester. So I have a final mark for 5 currently. This semester i have another 3, but since midterms haven't come out they can't look at the grades for those.

@@tin-wu7uq oh this is kind of tricky. I can't be 100% sure. I was not in this situation so I don't want to give you a definite answer. I feel like they'd take the ones that they got. Once your new marks are in, they will probably reconsider. I got my AEO the second last day. They were waiting on my second semester midterm marks. I feel like they'd do the same for you. This is just an estimate, I don't know for sure.

AEO doesn't mean you're in Ivey. But yes if you can manage to maintain your offer, you're set! Just a risk I wasn't willing to take.

Brian Park hm. I would say it’s definitely competitive. I worked really hard for my marks. But I do admit, I didn’t try so hard on their supp app. In my opinion, as long as you have a low 90+ average, you’re pretty good. Check out my other videos, I talk about Waterloo AFM in more detail. I even show you what the supp app looks like. :)
