Hi Danish, thanks for simplifying this complex topic! A few questions though ... You talk about "eligible" dividends. Which ones are ineligible? Secondly, how is the beneficiary of a trust fund taxed using the same 100k scenario? And finally, which provinces are the most "tax friendly" for non-employment incomes?

While working a fulltime job where I claimed all Federal and Provincial personal tax credit, I took up a part time job and in the tax forms I checked the box where it says if I have more than one job/employer. I left the first full time job and continued the second job which became my new fulltime job. No changes made in the tax forms all this time. Does that mean I am now paying more in tax as I had checked the box saying "more than one employer"? Thanks!
