Canadian Pacific “Empress”
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
On the dates of May 22, 24, and 25, 2024 we were able to see the one and only Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson no. 2816 or also known as “The Empress” as it traveled down south during the Final Spike Steam Tour. On May 22, we chased the 2816 from Rich Mountain, Arkansas to Mooringsport, Louisiana. On May 24th, we visited the 2816 in Shreveport, Louisiana during one of the events for the Final Spike Steam Tour. And on May 25th, we chased the Empress from Zwolle to DeQuincy, Louisiana. If you don’t know what the Final Spike Stem Tour is it is to celebrate the one year anniversary of CPKC as the 2816 travels from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Mexico City, Mexico. We hope to see the 2816 again in a few weeks during the tour’s return trip back home to Canada. It definitely was a wonderful experience to see and chase this gorgeous steam locomotive from the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas to western Louisiana. We hope everyone enjoys our coverage of the Empress as it travels sound this prestigious tour.

Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing from México ❤
0:48 is straight up symphony to my ears! 😌🎵
Great video Ty! Love the whistle show you got with its 6 chime at Leesville, can’t get enough of it haha. Definitely one of the best steam events of the decade if you ask me!
Looking great as always, Ty!
