Canadian Pacific 2816: Steaming Across the South

For the very first time in over a decade, Canadian Pacific 2816 returned to the mainline to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of the CPKC merger. The tour originated in Calgary, Alberta and will continue on to Mexico City, Mexico before heading back north. This is the very first time a non UP steam locomotive has traversed the KCS since 2006 and the very first time that 2816 has ever traversed this territory and terrain. Here is my 3 days of chasing 2816 for the very first time with some friends including the display event on Friday. All locations are in chronological order from start to finish.
