There was an Emo era Finch and Then there is a German Rap FiNch or something along them lines. With Electric Callboy it could of went either way

FiNCH is the guy in the nerdy glasses. He is a German DJ/Rapper.

Definitely a BOP for sure

I think Electric Callboy is going for the whole experience. The party vibe in the music and the videos. Even though the music may sound the similar their videos are crazy. I would assume they are the same way live, but I haven't see any videos of them performing live.

Its sad that everybody only recognizes the new songs... their first 3 albums were insane... now they make pop party tracks to get many clicks

@@styg7968 maybe they've musically changed like every music consumer too? or wanted to evolve their music or change the style to something they really have fun with. Every (good) Band evolves their music(or playing with styles) and there are always people like they go this and this way cause of the hype and clicks and the old things were way better and so on... listen to the old stuff ignore the new stuff would be an approach. there are a ton of other awesome bands out there to listen to instead of mocking around that old EC is better.

A big part of the reason why the name change happened is that "Eskimo" is a derogatory term. It is translated as "eater of raw meat". The name of the culture group is inuit with eskimo used as an insult.

you were right about Finch was an American rock band from Temecula, California.

One more thing: You should check out TO THE RATS AND WOLVES the former band of current Electric Callboy singer Nico. They toured with Eskimo Callboy a few time and had a similar sound, though mostly more serious, during their first 2 album cycles they had a pretty cool cyberpunk image with awesome costumes and facepaint (Though they ditched that for a more normal look during the last album cycle). Some good examples of their original style would be the videos for "SUBURBAN ROMANCE" "BLACKOUT" and "RIOT", the last of which is set up like a dark cyberpunk thriller movie. They also did some occasional fun/party vibe songs such as KILL THE DJ, which ironically featured Eskimo Callboy's former vocalist Sushi/Ghostkid. (sadly no music video), and their later song CHEAP LOVE, which sounds alot like modern day Electric Callboy and has a funny video starring a drug dealing dog. However most of the other songs of their last record had a lighter and poppier sound, and they would break up shortly before Ghostkid left Eskimo Callboy. (Coincidentally 2 other former TTRAW members now play in Ghostkid's band) So if youtube/copyright doesn't fuck it up, start with , Riot, Blackout, or Cheap Love music videos

They have an album coming this year.

So good, they bring the entertainment and catchiness as always! 🤘🏻🔥 In case you don’t know, Upon A Burning Body just released a new video and it’s fire!! 🤙🏻

Some pretty solid techno-partycore . I get it seeming a little "safe" but its also their first track since the name change so they probably wanted to keep it familiar sounding so fans know that other than the name change they're still the same band. Still the german rapping and hardbass did add a little something different compared to past singles. I think once the album gets close to coming out they might release something more experimental or even another serious song like hatelove.

This band never disappoints

Hope you’re feeling better and good to see you back! I see where people come from, I don’t hate it but it’s not my favorite from the latest releases. Btw you looked confused when he made the tulululu thing with the tongue. I believe this is a reference to the 80’s movie from French called The Cabbage Soup with Louis de Funès where an alien is talking like that. They also sing about cabbage heads (Kohlköpfe) in the German lyrics. A lot of Germans are probably familiar with the movie because it’s been running a lot on tv back when I was a child.

Also Eskimo Callboys cover of the Benni Benassi & Skrillex Dubstep track cinema. It is super amazing and tends to get overlooked nowadays

This is far and away the hardest I have fallen for a new song in so goddamn long. All their other songs I can listen to on repeat all the time but there will always be sections or breakdowns that sour the sound for me. NOTHING of the sort here! All hard rockin',, head bangin' fun! If this is a sign of what's to come, I am willing to travel to New York to see them. (That's the closest they are coming to me in Maine :P) I'll do it because Holy shit this sound is KILLER!

For older Eskimo Callboy songs you havent covered yet, well all of them are great, but some to check out and react to are Muffin Purper Gerker, We are the mess, final dance, the scene (ft Fronz of Attila)

regarding the name change........ as far as I am aware the term "eskimo" is inut and means "whale-meat-eater" or something like that, which can be taken in a racist meaning (spagettis -> italian; krauts -> german; noodle-eater -> asian people).....stuff like that. And because the band is far from beeing racist but seemingly weren't aware of the meaning behind the word "eskimo", they wanted to change the name so people of the specific group would not get offended by their name.

from what i gathered they wanted to change the name of the band due to the stigma behind the meaning of the old name, and i can understand fully wanting to change, and move forward. if anything ever since hypa hypa i haven't been this excited for their music since bury me in vegas. also i mean i'm sure the euro vision denial has a little bit to due with the name change

@@Anti-Trans23 kinda like people saying the phrase sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. that phrase aged as bout as well as a block of cheese. but so long as they keep up the good music the name change wont bother me much.

Still good and enjoyable...but...that's 4 in a row off the same formula...could become stale down the road. I hope not.

LOL i honestly dont know if there being serious or not anymore !! Least favorite by far... your right though they changed there whole brand by going to ELECTRIC CALLBOY....I WANT 👩‍🚀 🤳 👈 🚼 BACK

Imma be straight. I don't like it. I am a big fan of EC older stuff and when they brought out Hypa Hypa it was a vibe, but this new road they've gone down has just become stale and very samey. This latest track is just lazy in my opinion. Its just sounds like mash up of previous songs, like MC Thunder is the most obvious one, but Hypa Hypa and Pump it too. Every song has the exact same structure too. EDM>Metal Core>Pop>EDM> Metal Core>Pop> MASSIVE BREAKDOWN. its just too predictable.

In my opinion this the worse song we have gotten since hypa hypa really put them on the map. We wait a long time for 1 generic 3 minute song, which isnt inherently bad but I would rather get a bad video and good song, than a good video and bad song. So it was ight but def not great.

endtrocity released a song called "i was scared of'' a few months ago and it would be cool if you checked it out
