5 round limit for centerfire rifle magazines, 10 for pistol magazines. ( pistols can no longer be sold ) yea its getting bad up here. Not to mention all the arbitrary bs ban of specific guns cuz scary

Btw, the zipper for the load bearing vest can break off in cold Its cheap, thin metal youd find on a fanny pack Youd think a military based up north would invest in better equipment to last the cold Airsoft gear is better than standard canadian infantry gear

Can confirm. When I was issued my first set of relish flavored cammies I could see through them fresh out of the plastic. I ripped the side zipper off one of the boots they issued me a half hour later.

There's some surplus CAF and there's some combat uniforms that cannot be found in surplus because they have secret sauce in them if memory serves me right is only issued to SF and when not serviceable they are destroyed

Fun fact: The Loard Bearing Vest (Tac vest) was created out of the experience of the 82 Pattern webbing, the tac being able to keep the magazines with its buckles as the 82's German style closures were complicated and resulted in soldier losing magazines on exercise. Besides that, the design of the tac vest was the main problem. The mag pouches being up high on the chest area. During testing it was well liked by rearline/logistic types, but Infantry types pointed out the flaws, including the placement of the bayonet square in the middle being a pain while in the prone. Sadly, the vest was already chosen by those who were overseeing testing and was adopted. Later in the mid 2000s-2010, the SORD chest rig was adopted for those deployed overseas and for the Reg force, reserves continuing to use the tac vest

@@logannaraine7952 Yep, could be worse tho, at least the issued boots are fine (besides COs who prefer to keep their leather boots) from what I've seen, the US Army's issued boots are literal bare bones and no padding inside, which is honestly a surprise for me

A lot of us swapped out the fishing tac vest for our own CR's or PC's as soon as we could and our COC gave us the ok.

ah- i see the tac vest in there! If ur going to use that at least use the reflex mag inserts (and dip inserts if u want, it rlly helps) Also if u want to do a deployment/reg force loadout, u can use the SORD chest rig, that rig is awesome (Edit: surprised to see polymer mags in the video, remembered seeing them used with earlier model C7s and C7A1s, but retired for the standared NATO mag by the 2000s)

That's the upper on my ar15. It's a great upper, I can easily hit 300 yards with Russian steel case. It's very similar to a soccom barrel.

My ar15 is a C8 SFW upper from BCM. I can't get a hold of the cadex pistol grip. I do have the tri rail mount and a few of the plastic mags. They work but don't hold the bolt open. I went back to USGI mags. Anyone know where I can get a Cadex grip?
