wow her vietnamese is really good. A lot of people that learn Vietnamese as a 2nd language tend to overemphasize the "th" sound but she sounds like a native.
She is SO talented! Her voice is angelic and sweet, but most of all it sounds 100% authentically from a native Vietnamese person. Loved this video Kyle! Thank you for sharing these amazing people & their talents with us.

I was beyond amazed by Gale. She is so amazing and it makes me so proud to be Vietnamese. I taught myself how to read through music and connected through her so much on a spritual basis. I hope she gets more recognition to join the stages of Asia or Thuy Nga. I wish her all the best. Some of my favorite songs are Co Ua, Chieu Tay Do, Chuyen Lam Dau, Mua Tren Bien Vang.

I was mind-blowing when I heard she sang the song " Ao Moi Ca Mau" with her perfect southern Vietnam dialec. Her singing style sounds pretty much close to Phi Nhung. Love from Miền Tây Việt Nam!
This is so inspring to me. I need to get back into studying Vietnamese. I have forgotten so much. Maybe after I finish studying Swedish this year I will get back into studying it. The Vietnamese I have learned from when I lived in the states is South Vietnamese though and most Vietnamese here in Sweden speak North Vietnamese, so I need to work on that. Awe thats awesome that she learned Vietnamese on her own and it all started in high school :) .. she's like a parrot she can hear it and imitate the sounds and pronounce it so well.. I agree with her to listen and try to pronounce the best you can.. but I find it true that when you know more than one language its easy to pick up other languages.. I'm very much like her because I'm multi lingual so Vietnamese came pretty easy as well.. my daughter has now picked up pronouncing and trying to read and sing as well. Proud of everyone that still learn no matter what age we are :).. thank yiu for sharing with us all Kyle and gale..

How wonderful the voice that Gale sang and spoke is! By just hearing it, I couldn't know it was from a pure Canadian. It is much more better than any Vietnamese American whose was born in the US. Thank you for your love to Vietnamese culture.

these content are great. just one feedback, i think while conducting an interview, engaging w the interviewee is more important than with the camera. i feel like the comfortable feeling while seeing you guys interacting with and looking at each other might makes a better general feelings, especially when the person you are interviewing is a bit shy, might be a good idea to make them forget that there is a a camera at all. But im just also happy to see more content from your channel. keep up the good work 🙌

@@cicin894 Maybe. But as @hai-anh said, being engaged in the interview typically gets the interviewee to be less conscious about themselves. This is also why some great interviewers do not talk to the guests/interviewees ahead of time so that the conversation becomes more authentic, both to the audience as well as the interviewees.

Maybe in the future, but as far as I know, she just spent a lot of time listening to her friends, and hearing the sounds of the language, music, and practicing and some people just have a natural gift for languages ...
