Hello, banks look at annual salary and duration of job. At the time of applying mortgage they look at if the applicant is still working on that job or not. Pretty much same process as every bank anywhere would check.

Great house Vroon. But 340K for a townhouse and that too in Edmonton(I lived in this city for 11 yrs), a city where the economy has tanked and there is job scarcity, 340K is extremely high. 240-270K should be the final price for this one.

Thank you for your feedback. ☺️ This is a Duplex. Townhouse might come in a lower range than this. Plus, this area in South East Edmonton is very popular and houses are selling very fast here. That could be one of the reason why this price.

@@VroonTV at 53rd second, you mentioned that this is a town house :-). Despite the fact that this is a duplex, it still has a common wall that separates one from the other. Honestly it's a rip off for 340K considering that the economy has tanked big time in Alberta. I used to live in SW area (Ellerslie) and know this SE area of the city. I sold my own home in Calgary (after moving from YEG) - remember it was a detached house, for more or less the same price after having bought it for close to 400K. I now live in Quebec. Anyways it is what it is. Overall real estate in Canada is highly inflated but then that's my feeling. Not everyone feels that way. Finally, the video has come out very well along with excellent background music.

ive been in alberta for over 34 years and have never been out of work since the age of 16...there are plenty of jobs but people think they are too good and educated for them so move on.
