Canadian horses: Michel Allen raises masters of versatility
Michel Allen has worked with horses his whole life. Growing up, he lived on a farm where horse power was being converted to machine power, but his love of the animal remained. He fell in love with the Canadian horse, an endangered breed, for its versatility and intelligence, and for the last 10 year he has been breeding them at Élevage Fabie.

Generalist horses are the real horses that bore the hard work and the burdens of our wars. By saving the Canadian horse, you are saving one of man’s best friends. This type of horse were everywhere in Appalachia sixty-five years ago when I was a small boy.
Lucifer is my filly's grand-sire! This was so cool to watch, thank you for everything you do for the Canadian horse, they really are the Equine world's best kept secret---hopefully people will start buying them more/using them more in competition because trust me you won't be disappointed. Adult Amateurs, do you want a horse that will be competitive in the dressage/hunters/eventing/eq ring, but also want something that you can also chill and take a trail ride on/throw your kiddo on? This is it, this is the horse!
I love my Canadian, everyone should consider them as they are TRULY versatile!!
I love these horses. Some day I'd like to have one to work our farm here in northern New York.
