The boys are skeptical of catching any Musky that quickly-let alone a giant Musky-armed with only Bass gear. Awesome...but if you know that you're going musky fishing, please use musky gear for the sake of the fish. Great fish, great waters.

Agreed, we had no idea before we left that we were going to fish Muskie, we were on a Carp shoot and just took a drive to our buds place. Normally we gear up.

The smaller one was 54-55" and the bigger was 56-57"

We totally get what you are saying Danny. That day was an "extra" filming day while on a Carp shoot near by. We wanted to try something different and the guide suggested Muskie so we simply ran with it. Had we known we were going to do a Muskie piece and were going to catch two monsters like that, we would have come up with heavier gear.

Incredible fish, guys ! Enjoyed the show. We all know that even when targeting big bass that share the water with musky, a musky may bite bass tackle. What's not necessary are self righteous comments by viewers imo.
