I love this man. Space is awesome. Astronauts are awesome. You are awesome Col. Chris Hadfield!
America is envious of your space program. I'm an American, I think what your doing up there is a,akin. Thank you for giving generations to come, hope for the future.
You continue to make Canada proud, Commander Hadfield!!!
Congrats!
youtube, switching between qualities depending on the bandwidth available to play the video (if you have it set to auto quality)
Thank you Commander ! :)

now this is something to admire
Keep up the cool stuff!!!
I clap after everyone of your videos
Can you please make a video showing how do you guys go to the bathroom, i am kinda wondering how
awsome!
OH MY GOSH your awesome Chris hadfeild
The watch is mesmerizing...
You rock!
Hadfield! You should do some interviews with experiments! We are all dying to see them!
Very cool
Awesome money in space! also can't wait till i get my hands on the new 5
That is great idea !
That's awesome! :D It's great to see science recognized on something like this. Everyone'll see it. :)
love to hear what some of those experiments are! :)
Quoted from Chris's IAMA on Reddit from 2 months ago: "My laptop here onboard communicates to a server in Houston via satellite relay, and that server on the ground is hooked through a computer to the internet. The data rate is very slow, not fast enough to watch video, but perfect for things like Reddit and Twitter. We have the data link about half the time."
First time watching a video without dislikes.
IM proud of you Chris
Agree!
I'm from Brazil and liking of the vídeos.
If is not internet on space, how do you be able to watch this blog? ;)
Most propellant in modern ammunition have their own oxidizer so pretty much the same exact thing would happen in space as here on earth. The only exceptions is that there is no sound in a vacuum so you would not hear anything, The smoke exiting the gun would expand outward in an almost perfect sphere, and you would be propelled backward all be it at a much slower speed than the bullet because you have much more massive.
When did you first go into space and how many times have you gone and how many months have you been in space
Can you make a liquid ball, then inject oil or other lipid inside the center?
How do you guys keep track of all of those experiments? Are many of them self-sustaining for the most part?
True. The construction-work on the ISS by NASA is pretty much done now. But Roscosmos (Russia) and ESA are working currently on new parts for the ISS that going to be launched in 2014 (i.a. Nauka Lab, ERA, Nodal docking module)
For everyone who is wondering how he got the bill. They planned for him to reveal it so they sent him up with one before they were officially released.
if you watch his videos he mentions that the internet is slow, how else would he be uploading or sending his videos over?
That is pretty freaking cool.
As an American, I'm very proud to call Canada my neighbor!
How you can stable the camera ?
at waht speed are they travelling?
Hey, how did he get that bill? I thought it just came out this week.
The biggest pro of knowledge is that you can make claims that actually make sense.
I hate the plastic money but The design of this one is pretty rad! The canada arm is on it!
how did they get the money to the space?
How do you cut hair in space?
You're one of us O_O
I was reading in the paper that a lot of focus groups think that the designs on the upcoming $5 bill were concept art or imagination, and they didn't even realize that the ISS was a thing. People disappoint me sometimes.
its almost like you read my mind, went back in time and wrote it before i did loool
Heck yeah! Canada!
he answered that one already. he said that they have internet but it is way slower than here on earth. it is actually slower than ISDN.
when ??
Amazing*
when does he come home ?
Sending his videos on USB flash drives via space mail to KZread.
Omg. How much time is he there already?? And when should they land on the earth?
A supply arrive juste few day ago.
well, I do know that Chris Hadfield, the astronaut you just saw has a twitter and constantly uploads pictures from space into it, so I do know there is internet, however fast it may be, I have no clue.
there's already a video about this.
What happens if you sneeze in space...?
I'm glad to see Hadfield now has some cash to spend at the SpaceMall™.
He is, he's the astronaut.
How did he get the new bills?
:D proud to be Canadian!
How to upload videos without internet space? Internet is available but it is slow.
... It might actually float to the outside of the ball. That would be very cool. Good question.
Pleas can you light a match in space Chris!!! I've heard it looks awesome :D
he answered this when student asked him in in like a 40 minute video. Sadly i cant remember in what video it was :/
what will happen if u sneeze in space?
explain ALL the experiments!
increase phone brightness. You will see oddities
OOOO CANADA !!!
28.8 dial-up connection unless they are transmitting UHF, So they likely can't watch video or really surf at all. Even an image would take quite a few minutes to download. Just a guess ;).
He sorta kinda answered this already. Dial up speed is basically what they get :P
Whoa there, looks like you guys need a cable management plan. I don't even have the cables under my desk -- with my 5 PC's and 3 monitors -- in as much of disarray as all those cables in the background there. What is all that about?
How do you take a bath?
My god, look how many cables.
It's actually very slow. He answered it on one of those talks.
How does living in space affect your circadian rhythm?
He's got the mustache for it. I say yeah!
Gostei :D
ok if he is in space how did he get a new bill that just came out
You can be proud, canadians
he could be on the 3.5 bill. or does canada already have one of those? i dunno.
watch other videos
Don't you have like a place where pressure is compressed and fes like if u were on earth?
GO CANADA!!!!:)
Hadfield's face should be on all our money.
put hadfield on the 100!
The International Space Station does have broadband internet access which they have access to broadband internet but it is filtered by NASA servers of course .... I do not know the actual speed but I do know the laptops connect through WiFi :D
this guy is a G
Technically gravity is acting on them the same amount as us it's just that they are in orbit so they are actually 'falling' around the Earth, giving the weightlessness that we see.
Well, yes, they have their own internet up there, and I'm pretty sure it is some of the fastest in the world since they have to send data to their HQ's.
i dont even have a new 5 but this guy in space has one tff

Chris Hadfield in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccceeeeeeeeee
it's just hit shirt, it's floating round
haha enthusiasm, love it.
You should look up Peggy Whitson. I think you may be pleasantly surprised. :)
my pc's cable management is more of a mess than that XD
I think it's his shirt that is floating
