To add, prior to his retirement in the early seasons he was acting as an instructor not a law enforcement officer which puts restrictions on him in acting in an official capacity. The most he could do is send the videos on to the EPS and the RCMP to act upon.

Sorry for being two years late but YES! I don't see anyone else mention it, but he literally didn't stay to support any of her last challenges, and wasn't waiting at the end. I really hope that he stops supporting her in anyway, family or not, she is a horrible person.

Krystal is officially, to me, the worst candidate ever on CWD. Worse than Scott. Worse than Colin. Worse than everyone.

Yes, yes, and yes. Dale was, quite simply, a space cadet. Yes, she was bad, but it was because she was just unable to focus. Angelina was quite bad, but she also had serious mental issues, and even had to leave the show in Ever to seek treatment. That doesn't defend her performance, but it does explain it. Kevin was bad, true. But he never attacked the judges or Andrew for disagreeing with him. He was smug, and had a tendency to deflect blame, but he NEVER said that Tim didn't teach him, or ask to be talked to more gently. Krystal is not only a dangerous driver, she is WILLFULLY dangerous. It's one thing to be a bad driver because you don't know any better, or because you have mental issues. But Krystal knows the right thing to do when driving, but chooses to drive badly "Because driving safe is boring". THAT'S why I think Krystal is the worst driver ever on this show.

It's since come out that Krystal does have serious mental health issues - diagnosed after the show completed taping. Sad that it took this for her to actually seek help. I can't recall the medical terminology but it amounted to compulsively engaging in dangerous behaviour. So really she's equal to Angelina, but in a mega bitch vs. princess diva sorta way.

Yes, it was reported after the show that she was diagnosed with BPD, otherwise known as Borderline Personality Disorder. I have some serious questions about that diagnosis though, as it's generally not a disorder that goes undiagnosed for long. I grew up with someone that was diagnosed with BPD at a young age, and it's a seriously bad mental illness. BPD is usually diagnosed in adolescence or young adulthood as that's when symptoms first appear. These symptoms can range from self-harm/self-damaging behavior, a disturbed sense of identity, to complete breaks with reality or even full on psychotic episodes. Whether she suffers from BPD or not, it's obviously impossible to know from watching a TV show, but the one thing I am almost certain of is that she wasn't just diagnosed with it now. If she does suffer from BPD, then it's likely a mild form as her behavior is nothing like what I witnessed growing up along side it.

Called it!!! I so called it!! Krystal is the absolute worst. Even the other worst drivers want nothing to do with her. She is the first person in worst driver history to upset everyone around her. She's not just Canada's worst driver. She's Canada's worst person. EVER!!!!

There's probably footage on the cutting room floor that might be a lot worse than what we saw. Krystal deserves her position as Canada's Worst Person-I mean, Driver. Nah, Person is more accurate.

SchweitzerMan I can only imagine the goldmine of excluded footage.... I'd pay money to see it. Everyone's obviously pegged her as the SJW type and the producers / editors consciously hint at her being quite vocal about it throughout this season. Andrew says at one point, "look at us, dismantling cultural stereotypes!" (almost verbatim) in an attempt to bond with her during one of their rides. I have a strong feeling the producers wanted to keep AS MUCH of her SJW bullshit out of the final product, and wisely so.... would stir up too many controversial viewer reactions, and that's not what this show is about. This is pretty autistic of me but programs like this are a pillar of human creativity- entertaining, highly educational, mildly competitive, all for the greater good. A clever way to make civilization a better, safer, wiser place- viewers are forced to examine their own habits, there's a bit of Daniella, Tyler, and Diana in all of us.

Unlike Krystal, the worst being on the planet EVER (that hasn't killed anyone, that is still on the roads)

She also needs general therapy for her anxiety. I don't think this a driving issue, at the root of it. This must be a symptom of a deeper psychological issue. She totally can drive, there is no driving-related reason for her to be scared!

I honestly wish you could create a hybrid of Daniela and Kristal. Daniela needs some of the confidence not to die from Kristal, and Kristal needs 90% more of Daniel's "I'm gonna die" attitude. That way, Kristal perhaps could stop speeding, and stop texting, running red lights and running stop signs; and Daniela could be a little more safe on the motorway by having more confidence.

I will admit that I was a bit generous

Krystal needs to be locked up in a Psych Unit and the keys thrown away. She could care less about anyone but herself. I am a retired EMT provider and nurse. I have had these kinds of people on calls. They are the ones that get a few scratches while the innocent one dies. For every infraction she has she should have to go to the morgue and view an autopsy from a car accident. And not everyone drives with their cell phone. I honestly don't know how she got a driver's license in the first place. Are there no classes in Canada that people have to take? I live in the USA and it's a 3 month course, a written test, and a driving test just to get the temporary license. Then there are 90 days on that temporary license. It is different for high schoolers. If I were Cam I would be calling the town that she lives in and have the police pull her over and take her license away forever.

No, she wasn't. Even if Krystal had done better than Daniella on the Road Test, I fully expect we'd have a repeat of season 4, where one driver was "awarded" the CWD prize despite having a better road test because they failed to adjust their attitude. Krytal didn't even TRY to learn, so if anything, Daniella got lucky that Krystal never got expelled.

When I was 12 years old a drunk driver crashed head an into us my dad and the drunk driver in the other car died on impact my mother lived for 9 days she died on February 23rd 1975 the woman passenger that was with the drunk driver lived for 5 weeks my brother was in hospital for 4 weeks and I spent 3 months in hospital. The accident happened near the village of Slane in County Meath Ireland just a half mile from our home outside my grandmothers house where my dad was born. The accident happened on the 14th February 1975 it was 8.30pm on a Friday evening we were on our way home from mass. RIP mam and dad and all those innocent people killed on the roads all over the world. Please don't drink and drive peoples lives are worth a lot more than that.

I love a happy end for Tyler. I was rooting for this guy since the first episode. He was one of the few this season that actually wanted help and actively tried to receive it.

Not only is Krystal a horrible driver she is a horrible person

at first I thought that getting a therapist for the show was ridiculous but after witnessing Krystal I believe that it is an absolute necessity and that they need to pay her more

How did these guys actually passed the road test to get licensed in first place?

Alberta's is a numbered class system from 1-7. Class 1 for example is a commercial truck license. Personal vehicles up to a 1/2 ton is Class 5 and a Learner's permit is a class 7. The only restriction a class above 7 has is what vehicles they can drive. A Class 7 is the only one with additional restrictions.

On that opening skit Andrew should have been wearing a Krystal costume instead of a Godzilla one. Would have been both bigger and scarier :) Thanks for this season werevirus! See you in 2017

I had a friend who was like Krystal, they'd love pulling "I know this concerns you but you're wrong". And that's why we're not friends anymore.

Tyler totally deserved to be the final graduate. He's no longer awful! He is a proud average driver now! Congrats man, we're all proud of your success and being a better driver.

The fact she did so much worse is quite satisfying though! I mean, all off her failures were satisfying because she's such a horrible person. Conversely, all of her successes were incredibly frustrating, because she immediately acted so smug about, like she has always been able to pull it off instead off realizing or accepting the fact that she succeeded because she put her phone down and LISTENED to advice for once! I haven't felt the same for anybody else on the show from season 12-14 (which are the seasons I've seen so far), anyone else I'm happy for their successes and sad for their failures. But Krystal manages to turn that into the opposite!

I SURELY BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE WATCHED THIS ARE NOW WILLING TO BE A MURDERER.

He's all like .... *I'VE SEEN SOME SHIT* !! And he wished he hadn't seen it. He had legit driven with Krystal through town. It was a harrowing experience !

"This is a Driver's Test?" *Cue a shot of the Experts' reactions.* Yep. I don't think that moment needs any words to describe it.

Tyler is such a good person, working hard to fix his problems respectfully and is humble

You know there's something wrong with you, when your own brother has no interest in supporting you. When he's so embarrassed, so ashamed and so angry to be associated with you, that he'd rather just walk away. I really hope this program starts getting the police / government support to change the laws in Canada so that people like her stop driving.

Wow Canada's pretty strict with red lights. Here in Australia you can only be booked for red lights if you enter the intersection after it's red. Even if you go through a yellow and your crossing the intersection on a red your still safe & the red light cameras won't go off since you entered at a yellow.

they should do a mock crash and trick krystal into thinking she killed someone just to put that imprint on her and show how dangerous driving is. or just take her license away. I dont understand how a cop on that show can watch this and say ok you can go back to driving like a fool. just waiting for her to kill someone.

I feel so bad for Andrew on this final road test with Krystal. He doesn’t deserve that. And the fact he walked off from the final road test.

I am so annoyed by Daniella. She is clearly not taking any responsibility for her actions. "Did you just ran a red light? "I don't know". "What's right to our side?" (doesn't even bother to turn her head) "I don't know". Did we just ran over a family with a two kids right in front of us? "I don't know". Nothing is her fault if she "doesn't know" right? Look how she even intentionally avoids shoulder checking when andrew tells her to before switching to the right lane at 25:29? She just tells Andrew she wants to go but expects him to do everything for her, to avoid taking any responsibility. If she doesn't look and kills somebody it's not her fault right, because she "didn't know"? She needs to grow up and take some responsibility for her actions!!!! As far as Krystal is concerned...we all knew it, and I will probably be banned from youtube if I write all I want to say about her. Rightfully the winner and I hope somebody puts her in jail for a long time. Damn that crew and host have the nerves of steel working with her. Most people, myself included, would've smacked her already. She could've grown up and realized that she is wrong like for example Mariah and some others during the seasons, but no, she is so selfish and entitled that she wouldn't bother to listen to somebody trying to save hers (and others) life. And the way she behaves after being given the title, gesturing and cursing at Andrew? After he has been so patient with her and "babying her throughout the season, instead of being really hard on her as they should be? Wow! They told Dale, Kevin and Angelina they shouldn't drive, but no, poor sensitive Krystal has to be babied and asked a hypothetical questions if she thinks a person like that shouldn't drive. And she still gets offended. Well...I guess next season will be boring because they can't possibly find a person who can top that. Good job Tyler for almost perfect run of the Mega Challenge - that is the best so far if I remember correctly. He was still a mess on the road though.

I've never seen comment sections so in agreement throughout each episode in this season. Andrew once said Krystal drives like a horrible person. Little did we know at the time it's simply because she is just a horrible person.

Krystal clearly needs more training and has a serious attitude problem. I am surprised her license is not suspended or revoked, or that she was eligible to get it in the first place. It just goes to show that learning by illegal joyriding is a terrible way to learn to drive. Until this show she has never been taught properly and it is going to take a long time to undo the bad habits and unlearn her poor initial teaching.

I've found out recently that, at least in Nevada, there is an interesting policy for license renewal. My dad's had his license since 1989, and it's set to expire. This doesn't apply to him, but I found out that according to Nevada policy, 3 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a WRITTEN test, and 6 moving violations in 4 years requires one to retake a DRIVING test. There are people who just shouldn't drive, and if Krystal were driving in Reno today, she'd need to AT A BARE MINIMUM retake a driving test, which I'm positive she'd fail with flying colors.

I forgot about that fact, but it's so hilarious (and typical) that Krystal chose to learn how to drive on her own instead of asking someone to mentor her, as she legally should have, then years later complains that nobody taught her how to drive after six weeks of refusing to learn from an entire team of experts TRYING their hardest to teach her!

Major props to Andrew for putting his foot down. Tbh the only thing that would’ve made that moment better would’ve been Andrew reporting that Corvette as stolen when Krystal stormed off with it.

I was sorta liking tyler before this ep it now....he's nearly on the top of my favorites. .

Starting to watch it, and my nerves are already shattered!

I feel so so so so so bad for Andrew, he put up with so much, he was calm even when he was yelled at, he finally lost it and than she basically says that he's been rude to her and yelling at her, she was such a rude bitch that didn't want help even though she was offered help... She chose to be rude and obnoxious and so oblivious and delusional. She is one of those people that won't ever accept help and will always push the blame on others.. I feel so happy for Tyler if he truly committed to not drinking and driving ever again and I loved how he stood up for Daniella, she was so nervous, she got so much better, she might never be able to drive alone but she still improved and I loved how happy she was when Tyler got trophy! They were both amazing compared to that last piece of garbage.. I legit have no nice words for Krystal.

I just laugh at how the CWD trophy got changed to an actual celebration trophy. Krystal must be mad at how she didn't get the price. ... But then again, she's so self-centered that she probably thought of it as a big pile of literal trash.

It is no wonder there are great sports talents in Canada all but in rallying. In Finland we learn to reverse by using the side mirrors. LOL

It was actually Finns whose techniques I looked up when learning commercial driving, as trucks *have* to be backed up by mirror! I'm not in a truck anymore but the lessons stuck. Thanks guys!

Tyler is awesome this episode for being Daniella's shield. There is no way ANYONE could drive right with someone laughing right in your ear, especially when you already have anxiety eating at your head. Daniella needs some therapy for her anxiety and I'm sure she will do much better.
