Canada's National Parks: Canadian Rockies, Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper

Explore a region famed for its hot springs, back-country treks, and a fantastic array of wildlife. Canada is not all rugged wilderness, however, as you will also be treated to elegant dining and chateaux retreats. 'Getting there' is an experience, as well, with train rides aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, scenic drives along the Continental Divide, and Snocoach rides across treacherous ice fields.

I'm a Brit (82+) living in the US, and while I have never really paid too much attention to Canada over my lifetime, I have to say that watching your video it strikes me how totally civilized this country is - especially right now when the US has been behaving like a spolit brat for the past few years !!!! Thank you for reminding me what a decent sensible population is all about - I feel so tired of the politics here right now ! Love your beautiful country - stay always your very best self - you are a wonderful example to the rest of the world.

I plan on touring the area this summer with my dog. She is an Australian Cattle Dog and is very outdoors oriented. What do you recommend in terms of value-oriented accommodations that accept dogs, as well as day hike adventures throughout the area between Banff and Jasper, and lakes and streams that we can both frolic in. Thank you in advance.

I've seen some videos of the paranormal phenomena of spirits like the story of the 2 planes that collided in the Grand Canyon in the 50's and even though mountain climbers were hired to help recover the bodies not all the bodies were recovered. Some 50 years later there waa park ranger sleeping in a tent in the area of the crash. Around 4am she heard voices and got her gun thinking there were looters looking to steal artifacts. She looked out of the tent to see a native north American Indian leading a line of people dressed in 50's attire and carrying suitcases walking up a trail. She heard one of the people say are you sure we haven't been up this way before? I would not be sad to be locked in a beautiful place like Banff, Lake Louise or any of the magnificent supernatural areas associated with those regions. Only one thing is that I would want to be catered to just like the elite in magnificent hotels but free to roam anywhere I chose
