I used to sing along to 'O Canada' when growing up in the Detroit area when our teams would play one of the Canadian teams, while watching the games on TV.
I was in the room when this was sung and although I'm not Canadian the sound of 7,000 unified voices in song gave me goosebumps and happy tears!

Is it actually 7000 people there or not because some people commented that it’s not actually 7000 you look down below other comments you might see it is it actually 7000 people or not I just wanna know that’s what it says on the title right here on the video
I never thought I’d say this but Canada’s national anthem is probably the most beautiful anthem in the world to be sung. Canada certainly has been a great neighbor!!
Happy Canada Day to our northerly neighbors!
So like, this is what happens when the conductor asks the audience what song they all know the words and parts for. Instant harmony pursues.
I literally have chills all over my body. My God this is powerful! I think O Canada is one of the most beautiful anthems in the world - and perfectly suitable for such a wonderful place as Canada. I'd love to move permanently to this place!

The anthem was official as of 1980 for whatever reason. Canada is a nation of love and tolerance no matter what. Your leader is a walking liability and is an undiagnosed man with borderline personality disorder with some issues with professionalism rolled into one. No matter where you go in Canada it is expensive but very very safe. Have fun and good luck.

This is a very moving National Anthem. It is meant to be sung en masse as something to be experienced at a deep emotional level.
One word: beautiful.
that was beautiful. we love our Northern neighbors :)
O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all of us command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Best country that I have been to since Okinawa.
Oh my dearest Canada!

I love the Canadian National Anthem.
never actually herd the national anthem of Canada before, I've asked Canadian friends to sing it to me in few occasions, but they all turned it down for one reason or another, but hearing this now, I realized and understand the reason why they didn't like the song, the music is obviously composed to be sung in choirs or will only work if many sung it... its like how the world works, all the different voices coming together forming that harmonionous atmosphere...

Not at all actually lol it's adaptable which is the reason they wrote it and it has official lyrics in at least 3 languages I know of.

Worked alongside a Canadian co-worker who admitted not knowing the words to O Canada. Without missing a beat, I recited it to him like I was doing a poetry reading @ a coffee shop.

National anthems usually don’t put in music or songs they usually sing together like this if you want in music version sometimes it’s kinda hard to find
Wow this sounds amazing! Killer harmonies man 🥲
O Canada is the national anthem of Canada. The song was originally commissioned by Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Théodore Robitaille for the 1880 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day ceremony; Calixa Lavallée composed the music, after which, words were written by the poet and judge Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier. The original lyrics were in French; an English translation was published in 1906. O Canada is a poem, even an epic poem. To really understand O Canada, you must listen the French version. The lyrics in French, are : Ô Canada! And an English translation of this poem is : O Canada! Land of our ancestors Glorious deeds circle your brow For your arm knows how to wield the sword Your arm knows how to carry the cross; Your history is an epic Of brilliant deeds And your valour steeped in faith Will protect our homes and our rights, Will protect our homes and our rights. Now, you may understand what we sing in French; it is a beautiful poem in memory of the French people who come to Quebec from 1608 up to these days. It is now the land of our ancestors. My family arrived in Quebec in 1637. So, Canada is really the land of my ancestors for the last 10 generations.
Thank you for that.
Chills! Much love from the UK.
This is the anthem of... ...MY COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic, gave me chills!
This was so beautiful
I have a question for the people who dislike this video. If you went out of your way to exclusively search up the Canadian anthem and disliked it that’s just your own problem, not the videos

I'm so spoiled as an American. There's the most beautiful national anthem in the world, and then right next door we have the Star Spangled Banner, which is a pretty awesome anthem too.
