Canada's Highest Restaurant at 7,700 ft!
This is Canada's Most Elevated Restaurant, called the Eagle Eye, sitting on top of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Golden, BC. Whether you're coming from Vancouver, Calgary, Banff or Jasper National Park, you've still never seen anything like this.
Now, unfortunately, it is not open for breakfast or dinner, just lunch. The reason being is because all staff and food must take the gondola up in the morning and down again at the end of the day, which means their allowed work day is shorter than most other restaurants. Let me assure you, it is still worth going to see for the view alone.
Oh yeah... I recommend the steak!

Wow! This is a very cool restaurant and the work involved in it running smoothly is incredible. Thanks Mike.
I think these behind the scenes videos are my favorite!!!!
Very interesting and impressive video! Being a member of the clientele one never gives a thought of what goes on behind the scenes. The food looked good, the view was great! Thank you for the trip!
One of the rare occasions when the KZread algo gives me something from years back that I actually enjoyed. Although the current videos are of course better, this wasn’t bad at all!
You are great, nice things to watch during COVID. I’m telling everyone I know to watch.

Awesome man! Glad you like it!!
I love your train trips but the restaurant tour was amazing completely self sustained thank you so much again for sharing. I do have experience living off-grid so I do appreciate you sharing this video especially with them running a restaurant at 7700 FT elevation is no joke. I live at 4000 FT elevation in the Sierra mountains so I do understand a little bit about the water and cooking the time difference anyways like always thank you again Joe Dirt NorCal
Beautiful scenery! I always wondered how restaurants at the top of the mountains were supplied...now I know. The food looks great, too...fancier than the hot dogs and burgers I usually get, lol.
I'm GOBSMACKED! Your hair, you look so, so much better with short hair! I always watch ALL your YT videos but now I will be making it my new religion! Well that is as long as you wear your hair short! I never realised that you were as handsome as you are in this video! Thanks for posting and, as always I can't wait for the next instalments and please keep the hair short? 🙏
So cool. Love the inversion views.

So this is really the highest restaurant in canada? There are any like peak stations with restaurants? Like in Alps?

This is the highest in Canada, so there are likely higher restaurants in the world, I just don't know where they are.

In the Alps there are mountain restaurants everywhere. At the top of any major lift. You can’t go hungry

Try Aguile du Midi in France. If you can survive the altitude sickness at 3,842 metres. You will soon realise why mountain climbers seem to walk in slow motion.
