This band was, is and will stay a legend. It's not a moroccan folklore. It's a kind of music which appeared in 1970. They are inspired by ancient North African Sufi poetry like(Abderrahman Ben majdoub). It's the first band who introduced the American music instruments like banjo. They are also credited for bringing a new social movement to Morocco. The group was called the Rolling Stones of Africa by Martin Scorsese.

Il ne faut pas ignorer la signification symbolique du plateau (assinia), qui est un récipient sur lequel sont posés des tasses de thé et un pichet. Les rituels et traditions qui accompagnent une séance de thé marocain selon des régions du Maroc. Et aussi le langage poétique zajli du poème marocain présenté par certains types de musique comme le malhoun, le tarab andalou, l'art gnawi et les chants hassiens, dont les connotations soufies, spirituelles, politiques et sociales ne sont pas faciles à comprendre.

La chanson célèbre le fait d'être ensemble avec les compagnons qu'on aime, la famille, les gens du quartier. Elle parle de l'absent et de son verre qui reste vide Comme toujours chez nass el ghiwane des sens apparents et des sens cachés

مجموعة أسطورية ظهرت في أواخر الستينيات ابتكرت نمطا غنائيا فريدا متفردا تمردت به على النمط الشرقي الذي كان سائدا حينها بالمغرب احدثت ثورة فنية جابت العالم العربي والعالم بالات بسيطة تراثية استطاعت ان تخترق القلوب والأحاسيس.ناس الغيوان كما لقبها المخرج العالمي مارتين سكورسيزي ب رولينغ ستونز افريقيا وقالي في إحدى تصريحاته انهم ابطالي. بحيث عمل على ترميم فيلم الحال الذي يحكي قصتهم وفنهم والحانهم.

لم تبتكر و لكن عادت للإيقاعات المغربية الأصيلة و كذلك الكلمات، في وقت كانت الإذاعات تعطي الأهمية للفن المشرقي كأم كلثوم و فريد الأطرش و غيرهم، لدرجة أن الحسين السلاوي تم رفض التسجيل له في الإذاعة لكون مسؤولي الإذاعة يحتقرون كل ما هو محلي و يعتبرونه فلكلورا لا يصلح إلا للحلقة، و لولا أستوديوهات فرنسا ما عرفنا الحسين السلاوي و لا أغلب جيل العشرينات من الروايس سوس كالحاج بلعيد.

معنى الأغنية عميق جدا، الصينية نوع من الأواني المغربية نضع فيه الكؤوس والبراد في الشاي المغربي المعروف، نضع الكؤوس على شكل نصف دائرة والبراد هو كل شيء، وهي تعني اجتماع العائلة الأصدقاء الأحباب لمناقشة جميع الأمور، وان نقص أحدهم يظل مكانه فارغا وكذلك كأسه، وكما قلت المعنى أعمق بكثير، فرقة ناس الغيوان أنشأها مجموعة أواخر الستينات والسبعينات وكانت الأمة العربية تعيش مخاضا صعبا بما فيها المغرب، وكانت ثورة في المجال الشبابي الغنائي في تلك الفترة، هذا فقط قليل من كثير، أتمنى لك التوفيق.

Essiniya means the tray, which means here figuratively, friends sitting around a tray of glasses sharing a drink for the last time. The intro is about remembering those old times. They go then to speak about the emigration that separated them from friends and family.
