Singles is very viable for most characters. Some are just basically built for teams and characters like arya, Harley Quinn, and Superman are pretty much selfish characters and don’t assist as much. (Even though that have some buffs for teams)

I would've loved for you to talk about what the tutorial calls "dodge jump" which is when you dodge left or right on the ground and jump immediately. The initial speed of the dodge transfers into your aerial speed when jumping and lets you move across the stage really fast

Glad you're making these kind of vids. Thanks for being so direct and informative. This is by far the game I've been most excited for this year.
Since you can turn around in the air, I’m guessing there is no “back-air” attack, right? So just neutral, forward, up and down aerials?

little tip, you can wavedash much much faster. its just a matter of fast you can air dodge after your jump starts. some characters can wavedash across almost half the stage when you time it like that.
I’ve been playing smash for years and this game is such a breath of fresh air, I feel like there are more mechanics in this game to be discovered and I’m so excited to see what I can figure out
"Tom and Jerry have slingshots" *Nervously laughs*
So what you're saying is that you only have 2 jumps when you're off da perc?
Oh cool I didn't know about double tap down to platform drop. Def gonna take getting used to, I just can't stand pressing jump to drop through
I've seen Velma crawling, though. Can some characters crawl and not others? 🤔 EDIT: I have since learned that part of Velma's passive is that she can crawl. (also wow, there's already a pinned comment, too ^^;)

It's weird to say that I think the game might have TOO much air mobility. @@DemonEyeHelix I mean i actually can say that because i used to play them in nationals and some regionals and a lot of the times at my friends house. Me and the people I played with were some of the best in TN and all lived within a hour of each other. so playing friendlies with top players everyday for 10+ years I can confidently say, i am that good... It was some good times. meating so many people, even from over seas, but yeah thats why this game just comes naturally to me. movement is so easy like the wavedashing. im already used to doing frame perfect wavedashes on melee so doing it on this game is a sinch. but to stay on topic edge guarding is simple, even if they have inf invincibility frames like shiek does in melee when edge camping with up-b. all edge camping has the weakness of being edge hogged(gaurded) or being venerable to spacing. i might be over simplifying it, but the point remains that if you practice something enough then what you think is hard now will seem easy tomorrow... im not special in this regard though. good players like this are more common in the competitive community than you might think. a lot of us have at least have around 50,000 hrs and at least half of that was spent on just practicing movements for faster execution
