@@przemeklisicki8741 I imagine that during a challenge run, working around the bugs is much more annoying and unpredictable than working around the functioning game mechanics. Also it makes for a weird video if you just randomly explode or fall apart for no reason every minute, on top of having other problems... AND the challenge to deal with.

KSP 1 Challenges: Can we build a ring around Kerbin out of fuel tanks using nothing but the Flee Engine to get stuff into orbit? KSP 2 Challenges: Can we get a ship into orbit without it exploding or glitching out?

Second challenge sounds very interesting...

that 23 km/s fling was about 7.7% the speed of light or, if you'd prefer, 77% of the kerbal-scale speed of light

Its actually 0% the kerbal speed of light since ksp's speed of light is infinite

Rule 1 of ksp 2 the kraken isn't dead. Rule 2 of ksp 2 the kraken is powerfull. Rule 3 of ksp 2 don't underestimate the kraken

Rule 4 of ksp 2: if it's your first time, you have to fight (the kraken)

I had that same problem with the docking ports that you had around 12:00, and what's happening is that it's docking directly after undocking. You have to reduce the docking acquire force of both ports to 0 when you undock. Great video, love KSP 2!

Weird bug, I hope they add an official teleporter tool so that when things like that happen at least we can work around it

I can’t wait to see the more polished ksp 2. It’s going to be great seeing the great graphics combined with smooth gameplay.

kbsp2 might be more broken than scrap mechanic.

Oh, yeah definitely, not even close lol. You can play SM without encountering game breaking bugs every 5 minutes.

KSP1 has so many cool things. Also, I have only recently gotten to Jool after a few years of playing, and it was remarkably easy. My tip for KSP1? Just go for it!

If you're new to KSP I recommend looking up some videos by Matt Lowne and Scott Manley. Great channels with tons of content about KSP.

​@@Jowanoofy_ZO The only mods I would suggest a newcomer to use are Kerbal Engineer Redux and Better Time Warp, as they give just a better experience when doing certain things. KER gives you a bunch of extra information that's pretty crucial if you want to do more precise stuff, and Better Time Warp is pretty obvious as to what it does, I mostly use it when doing gigantic ion burns.

Remember how you could lag the fairings in ksp1? Well I used the same concept but with a wing inside of of a fairing. And it would just start moving up in a very “weird way” I’m not sure why though because I did it again but it didn’t work.

for future challenges you should consider doing multiple launches and space assembly to maybe make things easier

main challenge with ksp 2 is fighting the game itself

After a few basic videos we are finally getting the good ksp2 content with challenge runs like jool 5 and this video

Welp see you in five years cause that's probably how long it would take to fix everything. So five years of straight bug fixes and no new content. Chances are this game will probably just get canceled due to the devs underestimating the difficulty of making a game in modern days

this games whole moto should be "after some minor problems"

Missionidea: build a rocket that, once it lands on some other planet, unfold into super fast giant spaceship with cars that go "zoooooommmmmmm" on surfaces

Looks amazing but good lord its broken as hell. I was so hyped to buy it but I am definitely going to have to hold out.

I hope they fix all the bugs in the game so I can consider purchasing it in the future

I think in later releases, Hydrolox and Kerolox engines will be added. Kerolox is better for power but isn't very efficient so going beyond LKO is not a good idea. Hydrolox is bad for power so not that much payload to orbit, but there isn't a better option for acclerating payloads to high speeds

Maybe you could've tried to basically launch your lander with a plane-esque craft to generate Lift with wings for the very low atmosphere and then in the higher atmosphere you have your hydrogen engines generating enough thrust to get to orbit

Try landing a kiloton on T.T. , an asteroid captured by Droo, in juno new origins.

You could try make a fighter plane in besiege that fires through its propeller using an interrupter gear

KSP 1 also sometimes has issues with srbs connected radially, sometimes they will just fall off 😂

Stratzenblitz75 did a Jool 5 only on hydrolox and with using only the new parts.

this guy reminds me of nilered. he does the same crazy stuff , and sounds very similar

btw F5 is quicksave, very helpfull on my first Mun landing

Honestly I think one of my main disappointments with KSP 2 so far is that it seems like the wheels are still not actually wheels. (I don't own the game so I haven't tested myself) In the OG game the wheels had a pretty much square or rectangular hitbox, and acted like skids that propel you, more than actual wheels. I was really hoping they would've fixed this, especially considering the more complex terrain.

@@madattaktube I mean, still though, other games are able to have proper wheels. Trail makers, Scrap Mechanics, Space Engineers. And many more, all these games have crafts built from individual parts, and have actual wheels.

I've not played Trail Makers or Scrap Mechanics, but last time I played Space Engineers it was nearly as buggy as KSP 2 and the wheels were the buggiest of all. The only other comparable game I've played with wheels is Stormworks and the wheels in that are definitely not "real" wheels and are also the buggiest part of the game

I think only racing games do these real wheels, and simulation ones like BeamNG. With how crappy Scrap Mechanics bearings are, it should never be an example of how to make a game, ever

I was expecting youtube to explode with ksp 2 video's when it released, [Before they sent out the minimum sys requirement's] but now it feels like only a few video's goes on my fyp.

Though to be fair, KSP2 and GTA:TTDE are not comparable games from completely different studios and of different genres. In any case, let's just hope that the KSP team fixes their game as well and as soon as possible.

i dont know if "barely possible" is how i would describe this. Very Very impressive but not barely possible. i mean stratzenblitz75 did an entire jool 5 without methalox, and with only new parts so clearly not barely possible. now yes stratzenblits75 loves doing very difficult challenges and has been making content on ksp for a very long time so maybe saying that "if he can it then it must be easier than barely possible" is a bad argument, but still given then added restrictions he used and the extended scope of his mission i'd say its a little ingenuine to describe this mission like that.

In that case he was below 200km above Jool, which is where the atmosphere starts. But there _are_ cases around places like Ike and Eeloo where the orbit slowly decays if you’re below 30km

@@alexsiemers7898 you know, even if that was the case, at the speed he was going, if he even _grazed_ the atmosphere, his ship would either bounce or outright explode... So, the guy that pointed out that the game was broken, was absolutely right 😂

Thankfully ksp2 is still in early access because the physics issues would be inexcusable in a full release.

KSP2 is giving me serious early BeamNG vibes. A buggy mess but super promising.

This is painful to watch. What a tire fire KSP2...

I honestly thing it is very sad state of game they decided to release. It just should not happen, not even close.
