Unfortunately, Postman has not been designed for sending the number of requests needed to simulate a considerable load. Still, people try. Let’s explore why Postman is not the right tool for the job or if a dedicated tool can do a better job.

I usually don't comment on videos but this is such a great tutorial that I was driven to say a BIG THANKS. As someone said below exactly what I was looking for. Did your work on more tutorials on K6 make any progress? (getting greedy now :-) )

@@vdespa would the low demand indicate a general move away from k6 (may be due to better alternates available)? Our use case is very close to what you showed in the tutorial, like 1000 users placing orders almost together

It was good, but I need more details with K6. The tutorials which I looked for K6 were not simple and clear to understand. Your explanations about any tool or app is beneficial. It would be great if you go on K6.

Hi Valentin. The way we see our load test will start is by for example having 10 unique user getting auth from the site the doing the load rest. I heard K6 is using VU.. Is this scenario achivable? 1.) 1 postman script with login - create - etc. With the username and token set as variable and is declared in the json.env file. 2.) Convert postman to k6. 3.) For each of the VU set a specific value to the "username" and "token" variable. Thanks in advance!

I am sure you can use k6 for many scenarios. You just need to understand some basics.
In postman, it is better to use light mode for tutorials I guess. for better visibility

to do a kind of performance testing, at this point I still don't have heavy APIs. you may say that Jmeter is better but I want to try with postman in particular !
