    My daughter's Yamaha blaster was port n polished installed a 10.6:1 piston and changed intake to 34mm and 34mm mikuni carb, along with 23x7 up front and 22 inch out back. Also taller sprocket up front and smaller out back. It will eat a Polaris scrambler 400 2-stroke 4x4 in a drag race for two high line pole lengths. Tops out at just over 70mph stock was around 55mph or so

    Hey bro, good vid. Pro tip for ya. On machines that take a clutch actuator ball, and it's lost. You can take an old main bearing or Trans bearing from an e give build, cut the race open and take out a ball. I just did that on my trx250r, main bearing balls were way too large so I had to cut open one of the smaller Trans bearings to get the right size ball. Their the same hardened ball bearing material so it's the same thing. Works great 👍

    Yes, it absolutely can be done, by those who know, two stroke turbo snowmobiles have been around for decades, liquid cooled engines are best. Not saying you cant with air cooling, methanol will fix that !

    you understand you have to add fuel and air to make a certain hp no matter how you get there it takes pretty much so much fuel to make so much power so what you are saying does not add up (it might be a tiny bit diffrent but not enough to worry about because you gotta keep buying nitrous

    Wether it be a 2 stroke quad, a 4 stroke car engine... 9 times out of 10 most are going for efficiency in power, not necessarily concerned with mpg

    That's why fuel injection is a must before even dreaming of a turbo. Jetting fat enough to keep from leaning out up top just isn't enough.

  • @00xYamahaRacer

    @00xYamahaRacer

    6 ай бұрын

    @@miketee2444 people in the sledding industry have done it for years. They have what's called a power jet or dialogjet. I think it's called? But basically it is vacuum sensitive for applications like that or in that particular instance it would be boost sensitive, more car body pressure. The more it adds I believe is how it works? Don't quote me on that, but there have been guys riding turbo two-strokes in the mountains for years. Efi definitely does add a little bit of insurance to it. As long as you or somebody competent can tune it. Otherwise it can add another set of problems to a potentially unknown territory.

    Yes there are turbo 2 strokes. Some designed for a turbo. Most aren't. A single cylinder retro fit is ten times easier than a multi cylinder. Either way thar pesky issue of putting just as much boost under the piston as on top of it kinda collides with Newtons laws.

    Removing weight from a counter balance shaft without being precise is mind numbing and something tou should never do, correct balancing is important!

  • @StupidFastJohn

    @StupidFastJohn

    6 ай бұрын

    It was precise and concentric on a lathe... This has been done in racing for years without an issue. Its ok if you dont know this but MANY machine shops all use a different amount of weight to balance. Some are plus some are minus and it doesnt make near the difference you think when your not increasing rpm from the factory. Most notably a harmonic balancer on auto engines. I have years of testing between small engine and big engine and this exact mod is being done by several racing companies. Also keep in mind this is a test on a cheapy 🤙

    I vote NO. Sorry...there is a reason they aren't turbo'd from the factory.😢 Snow-mo's are much bigger engines miving a lot more air. I'm still curious tho. I've been wrong before.
