For Spanish learners here: "Puedo tener...?" is a direct translation from the words in English, but it's NOT how we ask for things in Spanish. In Spain is 100% ok to just say what you want to order "Una Cerveza, [por favor]" or saying "me pones una cerveza, por favor?" (in a bar) or "me das una cerveza, por favor?" (in a shop).

The Italian girl who said that almost no one has spoken English with her… That's because it's easier and takes less effort to speak to an Italian in Spanish than in English, we understand each other well that way.

Hola Sensational Spain! Con respecto a tu pregunta “¿cuál dirías que es el nivel de inglés de los españoles?” Concuerdo con lo que dijo la italiana en el minuto 4:47. Al pasar por los sitios más turísticos de Madrid (Puerta de Sol, por ejemplo) es probable que te topes con más españoles que hablan muy bien el inglés, pero creo que se habla menos en las afueras de la ciudad.

Soy español (no sé si tú lo eres) pero yo diría que ni siquiera un 20% de nosotros habla inglés bien. He vivido en el extranjero y conocido a gente de muchos sitios y puedo asegurar que españoles y franceses somos de los pueblos de Europa que menos inglés sabemos... ni punto de comparación con un holandés, sueco, alemán o incluso portugués (al no ver películas dobladas entonces aprenden rápido)

Im a german who just arrived in Irún, It might be because of tensions with the french border, But i'd call it frightingly harsh if you don't speak a lot of Spanish here

Tienes razón. Soy española y puedo decirte que, aunque aprendemos inglés en la escuela desde pequeños, la mayoría de las personas no lo ponen en práctica y con el paso de los años se nos olvida.

Creo que eso no tiene nada que ver con la practica,mucha gente no habla ingles bastante bien porque es un idioma difícil y su vocabulario es un oceano sín fin.Creo que si ustedes los españoles tratan de aprender frances en lugar de ingles, pueden ser mucho más exitoso porque frances es mucho más facíl de aprender que ingles,especialmente su vocabulario

@@stivengarcia7332 Como una persona que esta aprendiendo el idioma, definitivamente no es Chile. En mi experiencia, es Bolivia, Equador, Peru. El español de Chile y Argentina es muchísimo rápido y difícil que entender.
