First time playing, I walked up to one that only had one spot left to fill on top. Spent money, then went to the ATM to spend more money. I never got the bonus. Lost it all. The second time I played, only had a couple spots filled and I got the bonus. Yes lesson learned, it does not matter if there's only one spot left up top, you can put in a ton of money and not get the bonus.

was at pechanga the other week, seen this machine go from completely empty to the bonus. it’s completely a visual, but what it does tell you is that it has not hit a bonus in a while. i typically do go to those machines first, because it seems more likely.. but in reality it says in the same rules the bonus can randomly trigger at any point

Above the win in the middle you'll see the message good luck, line pay, and etc. When the message is blank it's a tell that the firecracker(s) burst going into a bonus. Very helpful when you fast spin. Hope this helps.

It doesn't matter. Just this last week, I went to the casino and played a machine in a row of 4. There were 2 machines that were free. I chose the one with the almost full of coin tree. There were hardly any coins on the tree on the other machine. I played for about 10-15 minutes, then a lady came and sat at the machine with the empty tree. Two pushes of the button, and she gets the bonus where you have a chance at the progressive. She gets a miinor. Not even 5 minutes later she hits it again, another few minutes, she hits it again with a major and then again. I, on the other hand, don't hit that bonus until about 20 minutes after her lucky run.

I've also handed out 20 dollars bills way to many times outside after a big hit and I'm notorious for shoving hundred dollar bills in whoever's sitting next to me after a big hit. Same for me. Hitting 1000 each time and those last sparkles don’t even fill up. The visuals are misleading. It was horrible… finally got one to trigger and in the end got 5% back. It was horrible.

it actually says it in the rules that they are just a visual and they don't increase your chances of winning a bonus. Although I still tend to play the ones that have some lit up.

My wife just hit her first ever jackpot on this machine 2 hours ago! $1300 on a $0.88 bet! We know it doesn't make a difference if the machine is already lit up but it makes it more fun for us to feel like we have an "advantage"

SAME!. Yesterday my gf just hit it for the same amount $1332.23. Same bet. Same game. I ended up winning $312. On the same machine a couple minutes later. And they guy next to us said the guy playing before we got on it won $850. The machine was hot for sure!

It’s true. I’m a very low budget player. Sat down with most of the firecrackers unlit. Played a few hands and the rockets lit up the purple and green. Won about $150. Good enough for me. But it does happen. Then played the Gold fish where the purple fish and the gold fish were huge and the bowls were cracked. Other ladies played it and I played it, and still nothing. Several months ago,on KZread,I watched a great vid by a guy who builds and obviously repairs slots. He answered all the common questions about these machines(never knew they are ALWAYS making calculations whether in use or not). He dispelled a myth I used to believe,that of walking away and then having someone win right after,taking ''my'' jackpot. Not so. All random.all timing,all luck. You can't tell when a slot is going to pay.

You are 100% wrong Mike, there are some machines like Tawa that you can tell when they are going to hit. Most of them are not like that, but Tawa is one of them you can tell when the progressive payouts are ready to hit because they limit out at a specific dollar amount, then they usually pay out soon after. For example, when the Princess progressive on Tawa is at the limit of $145 on a 40 cent bet, it is ready to pay out, because tat is as high as it will go for that bet amount. Can I predict when it will hit after it gets to the $145 limit, no. That is not possible, but I do know that once it is at it's limit, it is ready to pay out, I just do not know how long that might take to hit it.

On these games you can tell whether or not a bonus is going to hit before the rockets go up. Look at the bottom of the screen where it says Good Luck right after you get a spin with rockets. The area will be blank with no words. It cuts down the excitement if you want to know right away

Watched a lady put in over 1k on this machine while fully lit up playing max 880 on 2 cents for $17.60 a spin, finally hit only green extra spins for $170, then she hit just green extra spins right after for $600, just because they're lit up doesn't mean they're ready to hit and just because they're not lit up doesn't mean its not ready to hit. These are tough machines but on the same machine I did hit a double major with extra spins on a $4.40 bet for over $1,400 hand pay

I've done this same experiment and ended up with just shy of a hand pay on the one that was at the bottom. The other ate 300 with zero wins.

Very good science, Vegas Matt. I’ve done some field observations at my local casino. It seems higher win chances may correlate to slapping the button aggressively when betting and wiggling your fingers as you run them across the screen during a bonus. Some seem to even slap the screen during a bonus while asking the machine to pay out. I’m currently investigating. Will report back any findings. Thank you, Sando King

I played this at the Horseshoe and had all 3 loaded to the top for about 40 spins and didn’t hit squat!! I’ll never play this game again

I’ve played this machine when they weren’t lit up and got one rocket and it they went all the way to the top. I don’t think it matters if it’s going to pay it will pay.

The older machines definitely pay better when cold/unused for a long time in the first 20-30 spins.

The way I understand on ultra spin. When you don’t get a coin. That’s when bird flies and adds to the value of existing coins. I still don’t know how or what sets them off though. I like to find machines where one column is full and the others are low. Those seem to do the best (or I've told myself that 😂). Inevitably, at some point, every machine makes you pump a ton of money into it before it hits again. Some hit immediately after a bonus. You just never know. Also, you don't need to watch the rockets to tell when you've gotten a bonus feature. Look at the "good luck"/"50 lines" right above the win box. If it says nothing after your spin, you got a bonus.

Pro tip🎉 I play this game all the time when you are going to get the firecrackers lit up...look where it says WIN .....if there's absolutely nothing above that word ( like fifty lines or game over or game wins 248 or whatever ) you're not getting the bonus....there has to be absolutely nothing above the win for you to win ...so you know you're going to get it before you get it😂 and also when the bird flies across in the purple bonus , wherever the bird flies you want the bonus to start from the first line where the head starts because if it goes to the end of all the lines the game is over if it starts at the beginning of where the head is it has a chance to go to each five of the lines😂 Questions ??😂 Also always do a couple backup spins I have gotten all three symbol games back-to-back three times at least ! It's easy to be savage on the slot machines when you make $500k a year from your youtube channel.

For youtube videos, please don't cut out content. Would love to watch it all. You were at $1000 then all of a sudden it cut to under $100. I want to see you go down or up the entire way. I like fast spins but let us see them all.

It usually states in the info/rules that the display does not affect the game play. They are simply for display. 💁‍♀️ I know it does on the coin bowl one, whatever that's called.

The key to the bonus is to watch the lower part of the machine where that says when when it comes up there by itself, that’s when it’ll go into the bonus

It’s a sucker’s graphic like the roulette and baccarat tracking boards.

It says that if you look at rules in most of those games, of course nobody does.

Vegas snd Laughlin machines seem really tight.

Not to show how the sausage is made, but if the graphics don’t matter it’ll say so in the game rules. Something along the lines of “the pot of coins is for visual effects only and doesn’t reflect how quick the bonus will trigger” or something like that.

At 4:10 when the bonus is won, notice that the pay/win area is completely blank. That is how you know you’ve won the bonus play. As long as there are words and numbers, no bonus.

I play this game. What you should have done was bet the minimum and when you have one more light to go bet medium to high.

I got two of them to hit at the same time. That was amazing

It depends on the machine, and the game. Some games have a progressive jackpot that build up as people play it. And when they are up to their limit they are ready to pay one, or all of them. One example is the game called Tawa, I play it at a local bar, and the Princess jackpot on a 40 cent bet is up to $145, and it has been at $145 for at least a month. That means it could hit at any time, because it is at the limit and not adding to the payout any more. Another game is called quick pay jackpots, it has a yellow and a blue jackpot, when they are both over 10, one of both of them are usually ready to hit, usually just one of them. I was playing it the other day and the yellow bonus was on 17 and the blue was on 7, I got the 3 bonus boxes and hit the 17 spins, and it paid $150 on a 50 cent bet. Most of the other games do not give you any clue when they are going to hit a bonus, a few others do, but not many. You just have to play the games to figure out if there is a way to tell when they are ready to hit or not. But in general, most games do not show you any clues as to when they are ready to hit a bonus or a jackpot.

@@senseblogger The machines I play at bars are run by the state of Illinois, the bar owner does not own them, the state and the gaming company do. I also personally know the owner very well, I used to be his webmaster and do his website. The owner gets a percentage of the money from the machines, so does the state, the city, and the gaming company that owns the machines. And I hit them pretty good all the time, much more than the machines at a casino hit. Just last week I hit a machine for $175 on $20, I was there about 10 minutes, and I cashed out and left with $155 profit in my pocket. I only bet $0.40 or $0.50 cents a spin, and I never spend more than $30 in one day, so I am a small time gambler.

TAWA is a progressive game, with bonus pots that build up, and you can see how much they are for 4 of a kind, and 5 of a kind. Once you know what payout they max out at you can almost predict when they are ready to hit. There is a 4 hand payout, and a 5 hand payout, when the 4 hand payout is around $50, it usually hits, not always though, I have seen it max out around $90 before it paid out, but usually it pays out around $50 or so. Then you have eagles, lizards, birds, suns, etc. each one had a 5 of a kind progressive payout, when they are maxed out you know they are ready to hit, but sometimes they hit before they max out. Once you play the game 20 or 30 times you get to know at what amount they each pay, so you can almost predict when one of the progressive bonus payout is about to happen.

In Australia it actually says that the visual does not mean it is ready to pay out or get. Ive won 200$ in 15 mins on 50 cent bets and then lost that 200$ i made the following 45 minutes with not one bonus even though they were lit up
