    The ones I recognized were from me visiting that corresponding restaurant. Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese, are all very distinctly different to me because I'm familiar with how the wait staff communicates with each other.

    Same with some romance languages I think. I mean, I speak Spanish (latinoamerican) and for me Portuguese and Italian sound quite different (especially Portuguese). Yet, for actual people from England, for example, they say they sound veery similar.. and me like "No....? Portuguese is much more funny. It always makes me laugh." xD hopefully no one will get offended lol

    I actually recognized Thai *immediately* because, in 3rd grade, my teacher was a woman who had immigrated from Thailand to the U.S., and hearing Thai spoken just immediately made me think of her... Even though I personally never heard her speak any language other than English, her voice had the exact same *feel* to it as this recording did! That's really amazing, actually... :)

    Russian and Ukrainian are hard to distinguish even for the speakers of the same language group sometimes, so I am not surprised that you couldn't guess correctly. I speak both languages fluently, and they are way too similar for anyone out of Slavonic language group to tell apart,so it's ok Jack :)

    Tamil is spoken commonly is placed like Sri Lanka, Urdu is a mix of Persian and Arabic spoken in Pakistan. Hindi from India is very similar to Urdu in most aspects. Also, a lot of these are excerpts from news or political speeches

    The difference is that it would be massively hypocritical to demean Sean for not speaking every single language fluently. Very few people can do that.
