Ravish is a treasure for NDTV and Indian Journalism... I respect and watch him more than any English anchors and that's because of his quality, thoughts, words, presentibility, honesty and credibility... No doubt he is from Bihar...

Second, when are out & you don't watch our tv channels much except for some movies, surrounded by different cultural people it helps you to thing in a different way. Even within our country, if you move far away from your home turf and staying in different region gives that feeling to some extant. But we want all of us to think in the same way as we are doing. That's boring.2 things I would like our Indians to do: Getting into some kind of military/disciplinary regime for at least two years and work in a foreign country for at least three years will give a different perspective.

Google suggested this video to me in 2021. After watching it, my respect for Ravish Kumar has increased . He used to questions the wrongs of government then and still does the same in 2021. True journalist. Won the Ramon Magsaysay Award for doing the true journalism. Video is an eye opener for those who think he is biased.

Raj Mittal I used to like ravish but now i am sure that he is a pseudo-secular congress man, very soon people will realize this about him and he will be exposed the way barkha dutt, prannoy roy, shekhar gupta and rajdeep have got exposed. Whenever i am watching his show (or any show on NDTV), i am certain that he will 95% of times defend or downplay congress's mistakes and will make a lot of hue and cry about bjp and hindutva. NDTV will blame Hindutva and Bjp for all the ills in this country.This trend of siding with 1 party and always badmouthing the other is exceedingly dangerous. BJP has a lot of flaws and lambaste them as much as u want to, but be equally harsh on all the other parties as well. Being soft on congress and targeting others is not a healthy trend and thankfully people are realizing this truth about NDTV. Ravish kumar makes full use of his sense of humour to be liked by viewers but being a funny presenter does not mean that he is an unbiased presenter and that is what people have now realized., i used to like as well but after realizing that he is a congress stooge like all other anchors/reporters at his channel, i watch his show only to enjoy his humour and not because i consider him a good journalist. I am certain that a lot of people will soon understand that ravish is a congress toady and NDTV is congress mouthpiece.

@Aditya Kulkarni had he said so in past speaking against a govt, doesn't affiliate someone with opposition, perhaps that's what is the role of journalist. See the whole interview again with an open mind.

Today's the date 9th September 2019 and man 7 years old is this interview but things he said about media is so true. And the beauty with which he speaks. Just wow. What a legend !

*If people like Ravish sir present in every sector of India, India will definitely be superpower but very respectful and responsible superpower and not like others USA CHINA RUSSIA*

I like the fact that he's not threatened by the social and political growth of women in India. I love him for that.

I watched this video almost 3.5 years late but can't help but admire the realism of it. Praise must go to both Mr. Ravish Kumar and Ms. Madhu Trehan for this really bright start to my morning. Learnt so much. :D

Not only a journalist but a true and honest human being, and the real patriarch

The only channel I watch is NDTV India not even their English version and I will proudly advice anyone to watch it. It is neither pro-BJP or pro-Congi or any party.

Very clean interviewed, answered well. Keep the good work up, Newslaundry. Its been late to discover this channel but so is the truth since it takes time to be unraveled. Abhinandan Sekhri and Madhu Ma'm & the team is too good and great.

Ravish is an exemplary journalist. Why aren't there more journalists like him ?

One of the best Journalist ever, the way you speak, communicate with people is just amazing... :) Other reporters should learn something from you

His simplicity and honesty is extremely refreshing. Aise lagta hai jaise Ravish Sir bolte rahein bus aur aap sunte raho. Also kudos to Madhu Ma'am for knowing how to conduct an interview and letting the other person talk! Great watch. Left me with a smile on my face :)

Parts of this interview feels so relatable even today. It's been almost 8 years that this interview came in.

Ravish is a complete journalist. He always try to deliver the news neutrally. I like his anchoring.
