Can you survive nuclear fallout? - Brooke Buddemeier and Jessica S. Wieder
Explore the possibility of surviving a nuclear explosion and dig into a scientifically supported plan of action in case of a detonation.
--
Nuclear weapons are some of the most powerful tools of destruction on Earth, and the full scope of a nuclear detonation is almost unimaginable. However, there is a scientifically supported plan of action that could save thousands of lives. What is this plan, and what exactly would it protect us from? Brooke Buddemeier and Jessica S. Wieder explore the possibility of surviving nuclear detonation.
Lesson by Brooke Buddemeier and Jessica S. Wieder, directed by Tom Gran & Madeleine Grossi.

additionnal tips : - store your cell phones in the microwave oven (or in aluminum foil) in case of a nuclear alert, this will protect them from the electro-magnetic pulse during the detonation of the bomb. - close every door, window shutter and windows - seal doors, windows, air vents with a humid cloth to prevent dust from entering your house/room. - make a stock of drinking water in forecasts for several isolated days or even several weeks. (if you don't have bottles of water and the city water is drinkable, fill your bathtub with water before the explosion) - if you are safe in your home, if you have plenty of water and food, stay inside as long as you can, until instructed otherwise by the authorities. (even without food, you can survive a long time with only water to drink)

So we know this information after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings just after WWII. American researchers learned most Japanese who survived the bombing with little or no side effects were indoors and stayed indoors afterwards. This prompted the "duck and cover" protocols during the Cold War. If you weren't vaporized stay indoors to keep away from the effects of fallout.
Probably a good time to watch these videos because there’s no hope for anyone considering Putin has moved his family into a bunker

Decimate means “to destroy or remove 10% of something”. It was used as a form of punishment by ancient armies. Often used to quash any attempts at rebellion. They would decimate their own army to punish the entire group. 10% of them would be executed.

I live in French Polynesia, and my house has literally holes everywhere! Our floor is made of spaced wood planks, our windows are just plastic pieces that lift up, we even have no closed doors and we don’t have a radio! Ummm wish my luck if that happens😂
