You have more 5 yrs If you're car is HR registered then you can use it for 15 yrs from the date of registration.

Hi I have a question. I have a diesel car registered in Sonipat Haryana which comes in NCR and has 15 years validity on RC. I relocated to Hyderabad where I am driving my car without any problem. My car will be complete 10 years in 2027. Do I need to re-register my car after 2027 if I need to drive outside Delhi NCR only?

No after paying a small fee you can get the car updated and RC extended in Hyderabad if you are shifting there...

No if it's a petrol car then no problem you can use it till 15yrs before that is you get it registered in a different state post that you'll only have to pay green tax

So though I have a adhar from delhi but I live in tamilnadu, can I get an 10 year old car the drive it around it TN without any issue?? With just RC transfer

Yes you'll face issues. Before the vehicle is 10yrs old you need to get it transferred in other state and pay the pending 5yrs road tax. But if the vehicle is less than 10 yrs it's registered in DL & driver has a valid Driver's licence you can use it anywhere in the country. Post 10yrs noc will not be issued

Bhai rajistration tax depend on invoice value and it calucuate on depreciation value so nt tat expencive...

If you are outside Delhi as of current norms Yes you can extend the validity after 15 yrs also.

If someone takes NOC and re-registers the car in a diff state, then he'll have to pay the tax for the residual life. For eg- if someone buys a 10 yr old car, he'll bear the registration cost for 5years only instead of 15 years. So,it still makes sense to get a car from NCR if getting at a good price.
