Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Shock loss is an inconvenient truth that comes with hair transplant surgery. However, the question has always been whether a surgeon can do something to prevent the risk of shock loss. As a patient, is there anything you can do to prevent shock loss? Well, yes and no.
You can't do anything beforehand to prevent shock loss. But, you can certainly reduce the risk of shock loss by not stressing yourself out. Once you have had surgery, there's no use in worrying yourself sick. Trust in your research and trust in the process.

Shock loss, or rather the risk of permanent shock loss, is what scares me about getting a transplant. You could end up looking FAR worse.

As long as you stabilize hair loss it’s not a permanent issue.

@@HairTransplantNetwork I’ve heard cases of people who’ve been on finasteride for years can still experience permanent shock loss?!

I was diffusing, plus shock loss after my surgery. I panicked! I feel better now, thanks to this video. Also, I started finasteride and hopefully I get my hair back.🤞

@@c.1211 nice! When I said shedding, I meant if u used to shed ( a lot) before you start the drug and whether it helped to reduce the amount the falling hair. In my case I do shed tons of hairs mainly during the shower, while blow drying and ever hours later. But there are people who go bald without even having an increased hair shedding 🤔

I have minor hair loss at the moment, however, I continue to lose hair despite having used both finasteride 1.25mg and Minoxidil 5% foam daily for 3 years. To my surprise, I was advised by a reputable hair transplant clinic that this DOES NOT disqualify me as a potential hair transplant candidate. Any thoughts?

It depends on your age, rate of hair loss and your expectations.
