Actually all she would need to do is do a test painting cover up half of it and set it outside in the sun for three days and that would be approximately a year of UV exposure in a frame inside the house, approximately of course!

My mums a hair dresser and she was looking over my shoulder when I watched this like 👁👄👁 “what the hell is she doing?”

if you ever want to try it again, try diluting it with conditioner instead of water! conditioner is typically what dye is "watered down" with

As someone who dyes their hair whacky colours regularly- I can’t even imagine how strong this smelled

The texture/streakiness of the dye really works here (especially on the body and hair)-the finished piece turned out beautifully!!

Painting with hair dye?! Man, Kasey always does these crazy (but genius) challenges!

Is the hair dye washable? If it is try washing the things that have been stained a bunch of times in a washing machine. If it’s not washable hair dye....embrace the stains? Say it’s artistic? I don’t know how to help you if the hair dye isn’t washable....

oof same here. the most I can do is watercolors and inks. with the way I apply them its easier to work than it is with paints which are thick messy and hard to control.

Same!I typically use watercolors (now buying a new box of watercolors which are the Faber Castell 36 watercolor set) or just normal copic markers,or well colored pencils, regular paint is a bit harder for me to use instead of watercolors that go way smoothly and don't have chunks of pain in it and I can apply them and blend them together better!

Funny story,earlier today I was dyeing my hair purple and thought "Hey what if someone made a painting with hair dye".Then hours later,I find this.I accidentally manifested this video into my recomendations.

You can paint with anything if you're brave enough. Maybe she could try painting with food, or making her own paint out of things she finds outside?

Not the first painting with hairdye vids I've seen, but definitely one of the prettiest results. (Poorly none of them was glow in the dark) :}

Glow in the dark hairdye doesn't actually exist, it's just marketed that way because it sells.

Wow! I tried this once with the extra red dye while I was waiting for my hair to be done...it did not work out. This looks awesome though 😃

I think this is definitely my favourite illustration to come out of your painting with series 🥺

Ok, but what about ACTUAL, like, box-dye? It is all mostly colourless when first applied, so that would have been really cool too and has given natural tones. Nice outcome tho 👍

Centaurs can be considered humanoid or anthropomorphic humanoid. Mythical creature works too. I do enjoy watching you work with wacky supplies, I know that you will not create a long lasting painting but you have a lovely video and a scannable artwork for future printing if you like it! Oh you might have had better experience with a different brand of dye, there is a real difference between brands and blue is a troublemaker because so many pigment versions can be more toxic than other colors.
