Ngl I love Damian getting it by going on theme, it felt right to my brain as soon as he said an elf. I watch enough monster movies that I was like “yeah someone totally could’ve called this thing an elf”

Iffy hosting Um Actually with Damain and Amanda of Smosh. Yes. Also, BDG being the fact check man is lovely.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I caught on to how much Amanda gasped this episode.

The creatures in Critters are actually called crites.

I love how excited Damien was for Amanda when she got the right answer! Also, I was certain that last one was Basketcase - I am going to have to see if the same people worked on both movies!

RLM has prepared me thoroughly for this one

First thing that came to mind for me was Nick Cage's Dracula lol

My aunt and uncle let me watch critters 1 and 2 as a five year old. I had nightmares for years. I knew the movie instantly.

fun fact about the movie Elves, it features Nazi experiments, incest, child abuse, and a dead cat. and yes, its also a Christmas movie.

Ah yes Elves such a gem of a movie with lines like this! "What are you, a goddamn Nazi or something? Is that elf yours?"

Um Actually, is Gremlin more like a nickname for the Mogwai because that one old man was paranoid about the old WWII urban legend about tiny gnomes that mess with technology?

Personally I would not give a point there because they often did refer to the creatures differently after the cocoon form. Much like how you wouldn't call a caterpillar a butterfly. Although, since this is a shiny question, I actually would give you a point because I'd personally take Mogwai.

I think Damian was actually going for Goonies on that first one rather than CHUDs and he got double mixed up about it. I just got a really strong feeling.

Elves is one of the best movies

Now i'm questioning how does Dropout's cast actually looks like without on set makeup after i've seen Damien and Amanda with Dropout's on set makeup

I love crittees. The first 2 are the best lol I have critters marathons lol. The first critters film ppl believe is a knock off of gremlins but in fact Critters was fully written and finished before gremlins was thought of
