For some reason, when playing Honkai Star Rail, I can easily recognize the character's voice in the English dub even though the character is not in my account, probably because I'm used to hearing the English accent? 😅🤔🙃

Honestly, same, I got them all because the voices are just that recognisable in EN. The only one I was close to not getting was Yanqing, I initially thought it was Sushang, but then remembered her line mentions the phoenix.

14/20 Most of the ones I missed were ults I've never really heard because I don't have / use the character, and also couldn't discern it from their words. On the other hand, I recognized Dan Heng from his Chinese line alone even though I've never heard his Chinese voice before in my life 😅

Yeah Huohuo I got before the english line even came up. There was two voices, one was a scared girl, the other was a grizzly otherworldly sounding man. Even without knowing their natural voices or what they're saying, it's just way too obvious. The only one I missed was Fu Xuan because I've never used her. I've used every other character here, even if I don't actually own them. Blade and kafka for example are common ones to get free trials of in events, so I got them even though I don't own them.

20/20 i almost flopped on Hanya because i never played her but then realized shes the only Ten Lord commision playable character beside Xueyi

I would've been in trouble, too, had Huohuo and Xueyi not been the two characters I play most other than Fu Xuan. I knew it couldn't be them, so 10 Lords Commission instantly led me to Hanya.

Same, I almost missed Hanya until I realized that Xueyi had already been done, and she said "ten lords", so I knew it had to be Hanya.

I’ve never listened to Chinese voice lines but I guessed them correctly because they still sounded like the character in English. (Luka,Blade, Dan Heng IL, Sampo.)

20/20, ngl I rarely use Lynx's ult.. so I recognised based of their voice instead of the voiceline (also cuz the voiceline is different for x2)

Yooo... I got 20/20 but you ALMOST got me on the last one! I use male Trailblazer (Caelus) so i was genuinely confused when i heard that last line. Like, my brain knew the dialouge but it froze when it heard a female voice saying it. But evetually i put 2 & 2 together & realized it was female Trailblazer (Stella). lol.

19/20 Yukong screwed me over since I rarely use her and never heard her ult in normal speed. I also kinda messed up at Lynx's one and mixed her up with Tingyun for the same reason, but I still guessed it was Lynx.

I have never even heard Yukong's ult at all until now lol. I got it from her voice and the lines (Yukong has a pretty recognizable voice, and she was talking about "cloud kites", which I knew had to be related to Yukong, since they appear in her art and are sorta related to her job).

perfect score, tho i found myself in difficulty when lynx ult kicked in, she actually is the least known voice-over in 1x motion

20/20, I was confused at Fu Xuan's part not until I heard the Japanese one that says "Nas"

18/20, I messed up on Jing yuan and confused Bailu with Hook lol. That's the consequence of only ever playing in x2 speed

20/20 i listen to their voicelines everyday whether it be youtube or in the actual game when im bored :)

I was able to get herta from her english line, but I also recognized her japanese line even though I don't use japanese, because of the "kuru kuru" meme.

20/20 I’ve used most of these character for a while and heard the other ults from the content creators that had them

19/20, I can recognise characters I don’t have but I failed to identify Lynx 😂

20/20 I love all the English VAs I started guessing just by Chinese and was 11/20. (Edit after reading all the comments I’m suprised Lynx was so hard she has such a distinct voice to me. If this was just voice lines on the screen I would have had a hard time though.)

20/20, why was Lynx so hard?! She's my main healer and I still struggled a little.

20/20. I forgot Luka's name, remembered it in last second. He struck me as a guy in red mostly. Also struggled with Lynx since I rarely use her then I also judged from the tone

I got Xueyi instantly too. Her ultimate line is one of my favorite ultimate lines in the game. It's a pretty basic and simple line, but the power that she puts into her words followed by the impact noises and ghostly screams makes it feel impactful to me. The spear throwing animation has quite a bit of a punchy feeling to it too, and her ult can deal pretty high damage numbers, so it just feels really weighty.

20/20 as it should be. I did not rewatch multiple compilations of the characters ult line for nothing (mainly to scream them myself)

You always have to scream out the ultimate lines every time you hear them. Just make sure to only scream mentally, unless you're alone, lol.

20/20 soo easy I play only on English and even I could guess some of the characters in different languages, every character just has such distinct and different voices it’s easy to tell who is who based on how their voice sounds. I reckon I would be able to tell who is who based on the sound effects of ults since those are iconic to characters

As someone who plays without sound I still did pretty well! I did not recognize Blade, as I thought he would sound more aggressive, but then again he's dead inside. I also did not recognize Lynx and Pela. Also I mostly recognized Jing Yuan, Luocha, Sampo and MC, because I know who their seiyuu is. Like, I would never miss Ono Daisuke.

Relatively still new to HSR, so half of my correct answers were from guesses on who could probably say the line rather than recognizing voices. Completely missed on Bronya and totally forgor about Yanqing's existence, so 18/20. Shoutout to youtube videos which allowed me to recognize Kafka (jp), Pela (eng), Huohuo (jp), and BARELY recognize Herta (jp, idk why it took me solid few seconds before going OOOHHH) Knew Blade, Bailu, Lynx, Fire Trailblazer (that one purely from line itself and not voice, since I have male mc) Recognized IL because I main Dan Heng and the voice isn't really that different

Tbh it's a good strategy to guess a character listening to lines they saying, not their voices. For example, this could help with "ten lords commission" and so on 🤔

20/20. Only ones I got before English played were Huohuo and Bailu, and Huohuo was the only one of those two I was certain of. Blade and Luca were tricky since I'd never actually heard their lines in-game, but it was easy enough to make an educated guess. Hanya would've been tough had her line not mentioned the 10 Lord's Commission, since I knew it wasn't Xueyi or Huohuo, whose lines I hear all the time. The rest were easy as soon as the English played.

20/20, mostly was able to get them by the Chinese voiceline, but Lynx, I was only able to get by the Japanese dub. I only use the English dub, but that just goes to show how good HSR is at making their characters easily identifiable by tone! Also, I adore your intro. It looks so good and reacts so well to the music you chose!

I thought Lynx's was "ever seen a pill this big? It's all yours!"

So I got two of these wrong. I mostly got them right due to the lines giving me hints to their characters and how I recognized some of their voice actors for the Japanese version. I suppose that says a lot about me if I can't recognize Herta and Lynx's Ult lines.

16/20 as someone who basically never plays with sound on. I missed Kafka, Xueyi, Bailu, and Hanya.

20/20, i got a bit confused on gui's eng voice but i realised it's her when i heard the jp one. Either ways, it was super fun.

Huh Huo was the only one I got in Chinese instead of English because of Tails distinctive voice. Fu Xuan I completely guessed base on the few characters I didn’t know and the words. Anyways, 20/20. Tbf, I’ve been playing the game since about a month after it realized. Oh, and Fire TB was troubling because I got the male version, so it was based on the words…😅

I got Blade on Chinese bc the base in his voice, added with his tone of regret & lament, is just extremely identifiable. I got Bailu on Chinese bc her voice sounded like a child & i know Hook would be making "Tatatatata!" noises & Huo Huo would be screaming so by process of elimination it had to be the Bailu. lol. I got Luka on Chinese bc the VA chuckled, & Luka is the only dude i know who chuckles in his English ult dialogue so it just made sense he'd chuckle in his Chinese ult dialouge as well. The rest i couldn't tell in Chinese at all & needed english. Haha.

20/20 🎉 I tend to use various characters and switch languages from time to time to appreciate the voice actors efforts. Out of curiosity, I’ve even listened to every ultimate at 1x since v1.0… Knowing how much I love this game, I’d have been surprised if I didn’t get all the answers!

20/20 all of them were easily guessed by the voice (I use EN dub and 1x speed so difficulty in this quiz was nonexistent (and plus I heard from others using the JP dub, so i even guessed some JP ultimate voicelines))

20/20, I always play with headphones and use the english dub so I could recognize each characters voice.

20/20, even if i didnt remember the ults wording, i always knew who the voice belonged to

Got everything right except Bailu bc I thought she was Lynx. The English voices are honestly really distinctive overall though so I feel like it was easy even though I don't even have or use most of these characters.

I knew it was Bailu. Because the ultimate voiceline mentions a prescription and there are only 2 playable doctors (so far), one of which being a grown woman

20/20. I play the game in English dub but i can understand Chinese so i got all of them pretty quickly I also have a fair understanding of starrail lore so i can just tell who that is with the context of the voicelines

20/20! Funnily Lynx was easy peasy for me even just from the Chinese one as I’ve played in CN (but mostly EN), and Lynx is the only healer i really use😅 But Fu Xuan I had to rack my brain on! Forgot she existed for a bit because I don’t have her and have prob only played her a handful of times😩

got'em all but had struggles with Luka, Luocha and Yukong, because i heard theor ones probably only a couple of times so i didn't recognize them at first (needed to listen 2 times for Luka and Luocha and 3 times for Yukong)

20/20 But suprisingly I got some of them (like Lynx, Hanya and Xuei) only by the Chinese voice even though I played with that dub only once. Maybe they're just more memorable? 🤔
