If so, naaaah he is too old looking, stocky, blatantly buff and slow compared to both Baki Hanma and Yun Sung Bin. Both Baki and YSB are athletic af while having sleeper builds + rather long limbs. The bodybuilder does look more like a Baki character in the superficial sense of his proportions tho

Most of the ‘skinnier’ guys always think that these bulky, muscular guys are slow and thats usually their biggest mistake. These big guys are explosive af. Have u seen a sprinters physique?

it largely depends on WHERE they get the bulk from. hes a pro athlete. not just an aesthetically bulky guy. plenty of bulky guys are DEFINITELY slow and useless. sun bin is definitely not one of them though.

On the Sisyphus test they were rolling 100kg boulders up and down a slope until only one was left! And the only one to outlast him was the massive cyclist who trained mostly on cardio endurance in his career. There's a reason this guy is a celebrity even among the popular contestants.

Yun sungbin was really hyped in the beginning, but hes definitely my favorite dude there. Very pragmatic and down to earth. Total chad.

So much respect for these athletes, and the concepts thanks ! As a coach I love and will adapt to my budget for competition games to help my athletes. We already do two people hands on stick in a circle. Take away 3 points, push out of the circle 1 point, put to the ground 2 points. A game to 3. They love it. This is great for coaches and I hope this show is a massive hit in South Korea. An American football team in college is close to 100 players.

I can't wait for the final, but I have to say I thought the two stone weight and racing trials at the end were very hard. The recovery time will be long for them, but the rope and obstacle trial recovery will be much quicker. I hope there was a long break before the final, so it is fair for everyone.

Even though people won't admit it muscles can help a lot when it comes to a fight. Being muscular increase your physical strength, gives you a big punch power, strong submissions, better performance in general and you receive less damage from punches or other types of strikes. I'm a bodybuilder and I've had wrestling matches with my friends, some of them are heavier than me, but fat, and I always win. Once I wrap my legs around them and squeeze they're done. I'm doing bjj now so I can combine strenght and technique. It's powerful, trust me.

Of course muscles help a lot in a fight. What type of muscle shld be the question u wanna ask. There is the bulk type and the fast twitch muscle. The fast twitch one allows u to punch more explosively. And u don't necessarily have to look big. Thats why u see some boxers are smaller but pack a punch

I'm a bodybuilder and personal trainer and one of my clients who's a blue belt in bjj challenged me to a grappling fight without knowing that i'm a blue belt in bjj too. He's a chubby guy and he was so confident that he would beat my as$ but he was the one tapping out. We were at the same level, both were blue belt in bjj, but I won because I was stronger physically.

There are so many different aspects you have to take into account to make this contest entirely equal. Sometimes weight difference makes the contest unequal, sometimes height difference makes a contest unequal. Then there is simply luck.... I hope the competitors realise that it is impossible to have an entirely equal competition. Therefor don't disqualify yourself for not winning this, be proud for the fight you fought with all your heart. I bet a second competition will turn out completely different with others winning. Don't you ever think you fell short because you didn't win all challenges. This reminds me of a story about a soldier in the second world war. In the end he was given the purple heart, for his heroic great achievements in battle. While before that he was refused to join the army because of his short hight, his slim body and bad eyesight. Remember people, your determination lasts longer then a physical 100 competition.
