You wouldn't believe how many plumbers think electrolysis doesn't exist and is commonly debated I wish I could save this video to rub it in the other plumbers in my class that I was right and that's why they shouldn't ground the entire house to their copper water lines

Can we "execute" a penny? And which of these do plumbers argue about? Electrolysis > Splitting water into hydrogen & oxygen by means of electricity. Electroplate > To coat one metal with another by moving particles off one metal onto the other using an electrical current. Electrocute > To execute/kill someone with electrical current.

It's pretty low voltage and current, so it wouldn't be able to do wood burning.

Not anymore. All new ones are copper-coated zinc. :)

You can see the zinc revealed at the top edge of the penny as it first starts to react!
