KuruHS the games difficulty changes once you upgrade your car so the ai can have a fair race or close races with the stock gti the difficulty is the same for all black List racers

Thank god at least one here has a brain and understands the slingshot mechanic of the game. Would be funny if he tried that in the redux 2020 version of the game where catchup is disabled and cars like the Bugatti Chiron would blow him away with more than minute difference in time.

@@AmnesiaForever Alright, so you are saying I've never played the game and yet I'm the one of us both knowing how to edit that option out without using thirdparty software. But at least you know you can turn it off in quick races. That way you can practice for your vid where you try to beat the blacklist with a stock car after you installed a mod which disables the option for you in the main gameplay. ;)

A while back I went and beat every blacklist using the stock then all blacklist cars for each stage/member, was a lot of fun and yeah having to get all markers involved me picking the marker or turning the console off till I received the car. Thank goodness for guides nowadays that actually tell you the markers but really enjoyed this vid thanks!!

@@thegamer6314 when you beat a black list member they let you chose a marker as a reward for winning, you can get money, a strike off the impound, junkman parts, or the pink slip to their car. And if you pick one find it's not the one you want and turn off the console or restart it before it saves you only have to do the last race again before it lets you choose the marker again.

I remember I beat NFS Carbon’s bosses, using a bone-stock Mazda RX8. I had to be on my A-game though and couldn’t make any mistakes.

Finally someone as obsessed as me with NFS:MW and song at 11:33 ? Forever will this be my favorite racing game!

You play this game and it’s 2019. I love you man

12:18 i died XDDDDDD, when i saw razor waiting for ya to catch up

And so it was that the street racing scene in the city was completely destroyed by the fact that all of the professional racers and their tuned cars were beaten by a stock Golf GTI.

The only thing I did that was similar to this was in the good old Re-Volt game in which I completed the final cup with a tier 1 car lol

This guy is the reason i keep going back to Need for speed most wanted. Everytime i feel like ive had enough youtube recommends me this dude and i feel like playing again. Currently I play on my Series X.

I finished the game with the Golf GTI.When it's tuned to the max it reaches 300+ km/h. Very fast,funny and extreme ride!

Now try and beat NFS Carbon with the stock Alfa Romeo

Finally, a worthy opponent! I beat them with a stock Fiat Punto but it needed some help with a shot of nitrous after #3. And after Razor i somehow had to do the final pursuit with it 😅

@@Pheatan there is a mod, so you can drive the scenery cars like the garbage truck or the pizza car, and the enemies go to a crawl when you race them in the garbage truck. its pretty entertaining to watch. so no, minimum performance is also scaled to the performance of your car. works in both ways too, like with a maxed out murcielago against first level races and the punto overtaking you while you use nos

The cars are in a pattern, at least on the pc but ai think on consoles too, basically they move left once each time you race a blacklister, so basically you should be able to know the pattern after beating sonny, if you don’t get the pink slip, you know that it was in the remains marker and if going for your record instead of just practicing, then you can just try again and again and you have a 2/3 chance, from then on you know the pattern

It's not even harder There's rubber banding they dont go faster than you. If you go intentionally slow then speed up at end of the race you get a basically guaranteed win

@@hondacivicvtec9072 Only the blacklist members seem to follow this behavior but rubberbanding is when they slow down or speed up to match your pace With #13, I dont touch nitrous and stay behind him whole race, then at the last couple stretches I gun it and get the win

This game shows that you don't really need upgrades at all, they have the same speed as you, it's just a matter of skill

I also try to make this challenge, but I use golf everywhere: from blacklist to cops and usual races. And usual races with speed radars even harder, then blacklist

A month late, but here's your awnser: rubber banding ai. The NFS series had (or has, haven't really played the newer ones) a rubber banding ai. What that means is that the difficulty of the opponents gets easier or harder depending on how well (or how shit) you are doing. Since he's driving a shitty ass car and keeps losing, the ai adjusted to make the game super easy, making the oponents slower and all that. The oposite is what you usually get, when you are doing very well in the race, the ai gets more agressive and all of the sudden they go from 50mph to 110mph, get super aggresive and usually spawns more traffic.

Razor: See? Im using your car against you KuruHS: Can you see the GTI badge on this one tho?
