Yeah, my first time i had no clue you had to go around to the other side of the mountain, and i didn't know about the horse trick. So i went in a straight line to the mountain where the arrow was pointing me, and spent several hours climbing all over that mountain. They said the greybeards were at the top, so i thought i was supposed to go to the peak. I finally found the damn thing when i fell onto its front porch from above. The plus side is i perfected climbing mountains and cliffs on foot. I still don't use the horse trick, mainly because my horses always either die or get lost so i gave up on that.

How to break this run: Kill a town guard and soul trap his corpse until you hit conjuration 100 then just buy the spells you want to use and relax

Granted I tried it on the giant that Aela and the Companions killed at the start of the game so I don’t know if the guard specifically works. I’m pretty sure Bethesda doesn’t patch anything considering most exploits still work and probably always will

kbstsd Nah soul trap works fine granted you’ll be skipping time a lot but it definitely works. If you can do it on the giant that aela kills at the start by getting soul trap in riverwood it’d be way easier. Or instead you could progress in the main story until dragons show up and just soul trap the dead guards during the first dragon attack

On that one I did, I was testing a couple things with the conjured sword. Mostly wanted to know if I could use it to block the meteors.

The Elder Scrolls have always defied time and space, they don't evem consistently exist, sometimes they jsut multiply and other times they decide to stop existing.

Well, actually there's a book in a game which says exactly that. It's basically a diary of a man who tried to do the counting of TES. And there's the Ancestor Moth's cult which, I guess, manages (and can read) the Scrolls. The book is called «An Accounting of the Elder Scrolls»

Conjuration/Illusion/Sneak is one of my favorite builds. Sneak in, cast fury on the enemies so they fight each other, summon some kind of damage dealing companion (mostly to just add to the chaos), go invisible if someone does happen to see you, then sneak around and loot all the chests while everyone is fighting each other around you.

Everything you talked about in the embassy is part of the reason I love this game so much. Their ai with doors suck so much

Every Saturday at 2PM EST there will be one! I would put more out more often but my job keeps me very busy and this is all I really have time for.

Last time I went to Skuldafn, the two dragons up by the dragon priest didn't attack, so it was like they were watching me fight and beginning to shift allegiance from Alduin to the Dragonborn. At least, that's the most badass way to articulate what was most likely a bug...

whiterun was made back when the dragons where around so they could capture them. That's why it makes sense

@@sadekabbas4298 It's a very simple structure, so it is probably easy to care for. Replacing rope and wood really is not a big deal.

You know if you summon a sword you’re just binding a daedra to a shape to be used, it’s 100% conjuration, all conjugation spells are binding daedra to the material plane paired with some sort of enslavement spell

@@somethingsomething8022 Nonetheless, it's still a Conjuration spell--one that requires Magicka, gets benefits from Conjuration spell tree and levels up Conjuration skills, and also logically, things that YOU DO CONJURE. I don't understand how it's not PURE conjuration just because it happens that another skill tree gets benefits and Bound spells also get benefits from associated skill trees.

Honestly this is one of the easier challenges ive seen from you, Skyrim isn't that difficult of a game unless you're actively challenging yourself.

Frostfall makes that journey to Septimus way more fraught than it is base game, almost to the point where it makes sense they've not bothered to find him

the elder scrolls are literly written in time lord language ofc you can see back in time with them

Favorite elder scrolls? Gotta be morrowind. Skyrim's main quest can be beaten in an afternoon with everything leveled to you. Morrowind will take days, especially if you don't take advantage of some of the hacks. Sure, the graphics aren't as nice, but the story is fucking amazing. The faction and miscellaneous quests are plentiful, not automatic and overloading like skyrim. And the levitation and mark/recall spells will make you hate that oblivion and skyrim didn't have them. They add so much fun

I use a mod for Morrowind that lets you put down multiple Marks... and I gotta say, being able to transcend both time and space can make you feel a bit ridiculous. 😂 I started playing a Khajiit just so that I could call him "The Cheshire Cat". Run out of potions halfway through a dungeon crawl? No problem, let me "step" into that alchemy shop halfway across the continent for a moment to restock. Okay I'm back. Let's clear the next room. Even in vanilla, you can just drop a Mark in the dungeon, then use one of the two Intervention spells to go shopping at the nearest temple. They don't have what you need? No problem. Just cast Recall, then use the OTHER Intervention spell, and see if that temple has a better inventory. Not to mention the amount of cheesing you can do by placing a Mark somewhere else in the dungeon for a quick retreat. Like say... behind a door that you magically locked earlier. To this day, Morrowind *still* remains my favorite game of all time.

"A girl named Dolphin". That cracked me up. Summoning weapons is part of the conjuration tree, so it should count.

And the day was saved by the heroic efforts of Frosty, Hotcakes, and Doggo.

I legit only used Conjuration for my first play through of Skyrim. So yes, yes you can.

before watching im going to say yes because even the weakest flame atronach is a beast. bar none the best choice if you want to cruise through the early game at least.

I have a few question: Could you use Sneak? Could you use Enchanting? Could you use Alchemy? Could you use a follower? And could you use staves?

I did something similar to what you seemed to be implying: 1. I changed "can only use conjuration" to "can only level conjuration". 2. Similar to this video, "no armor [rating]". 3. "No exploits". 4. "No followers/pets". Just 1 alone was quite limiting: no sneaking (Sneak), no locked chests (Lockpicking), no trading (Speech), no random skillbooks or quests that reward skill levels (sorry, Bards College), etc. The only thing I compromised on in the spirit of the challenge: follower allowed IF it's a quest follower, in which case their quest is to be advanced immediately.

"No. You cannot use my castle to capture a dragon." What a reasonable dude! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I spit my friggin coffee out!!! This is fantastic!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Archery-sneak-conjuration build is one of the best builds in skyrim imo. You can just sit back and snipe some fucks while your frost thrall tanks all the damage and a dremora lord fucks up any stragglers. Sure, you're going to have to conpensate for your shitty hp and stamina, but a few enchanted items and stocking up on healing potions fixes that problem _really_ fast.

I love 'can you beat' style of videos, mitten squad was the first I started to watch, then senza, and then you, keep up in the good work pal, I do like your videos

This whole playthrough would have been infinitely easier if you had the spell, "Summon Arniel's Shade." It is an invincible summon. Also, idk if it's just for the sake of comedy or if you just don't care but in case it isn't you got a ton of lore stuff wrong and it actually makes sense that you can learn those 2 shouts without a dragon soul. For the one that summons a dragon, you are just yelling his name, it isn't a proper "shout" and for the "Dragon Rend" shout, as a mortal you already have the inate knowledge and understanding of the words that make it up, while the dragons are immortal (except when their soul is devoured) and can't truly understand the words. Therefore you don't need to use a dragon soul to understand it.

Also, the shit with how it apparently makes no sense that Dragonsreach was once used to capture a Dragon. Dragonsreach has existed for thousands of years, during times when the Dragons still existed. It's being done in the campaign. There is literally nothing nonsensical about that.

This feels like a special video to me because of how much I love conjuration and my current steath conjuration playthrough

Me: (sees thumbnail) Also me: looks at my 100-100-100 conjuration-sneak-archery character. Also also me: yes, yes you can.

In case your actually serious about esburn teaching you a shout, hes not, what he is teaching you is the name of a dragon, that when projected LIKE a shout, is akin to issuing a challenge to a duel, Esburn was one of the Blades Master Scribes, meaning he would more then likely know that dragon tongue, (he certainly can read Akiverri pictograms) the elder scroll wasn’t bringing us through time, mearly SHOWING US what was on the other side if the time rift created when Aldiun was sundered from time, the scroll guy had Hermaus Mora fucking TELLING him all the shit he knew (thats the Deadric Prince of forbidden Knowledge for ya) Dragonsreach was constructed before the Dragon War, Dragonrend is a shout designed by man, for man, and only logical to man, and thus anyone with even a hint of ability would learn it easily

I found the dungeon design to be repetitive. Daggerfall is great, but it really highlights the limits of procedural generation.

Theoretically, you could've used a flaming familiar to do the final blow, since they expload.

Figured it'd be considered player damage since that's the only spell in Conjuration I can think of that can deal damage without relying on AI aside from well... direct attacks but you're right. Seems it's Universal damage. The game treats it like physics or trap based damage and it doesn't trigger aggro...

Tip: you can get TWO permanent ally followers by starting the Ring of Namira quest but once the priest starts following you, just dont finish the quest and hes your buddy forever, but DOESN'T take up a follower slot

This is literally basically how I normally play the game

This was really fun to watch and the way you told what you did how you did it was really funny

Without even watching this video... ... yes you can. Easily. Most op lore of magic in the whole game.

I did a similar thing in my playthrough. The summoning spells u get on solstien are really good for the middle part of the game. But the best is when yoi get the double summon perk and can summon 2 deidralords. I still used swords though plus had a follower. Basically every enemy had to face me, Lydia (who got all the best enchanted weaponry) and 2 lords at the same time.

that was my first playtrough style i only used conjuration and healing i guess though that was never needed I dont know why i only used conjuration but i remember having fun back then in early days of the game being out

Fun fact: if you find an animal and kill it you can use soul trap until you run out of magicka wait an hour and keep going to level up conjuration quickly

The fact you split two of my favorite games in a great intro is marvelous

You should have gone to whiterun and gotten the soul trap spell, and grinded on a dead animal or human. You could have then gone to the college of Winterhold after buying a few more spells and killed the daedra. You would have been gifted the Flame Thrall, a powerful spell at that point. Grind a few levels to use it, then go to bleak falls barrow. You wouldn’t have had any problem with it.

reminds me of my first run, RPing as a necromancer, and boy was that awesome! With two fire atronachs and either an Ice Atronach or a Thrall as a tank, while i layed back eating cheese... good times

I like the looks of the Atronachs, but they get easily replaced by Dremora Lord once you get to high lvl. So the Enhanced Atronach mod is my best friend.

I'd recommend trying Illusion only. That was a particularly fun one

@@GameBreaker1055 Generally just affects enemy AI. Calm them, make the run away, make them kill each other, have them not detect you, things of that nature.

Skyrim but you have to beat it using ONLY the fork taht does damage and poison. no glitching enchantingh to give it 10k fire damage

Just got this channel recommened to me, KZread finally did something good for once.

I just thought, if the dragonborn are supposed to rule the entire continent, why isnt the mc the big man. Is that *just* cyrodil, or am i missing lore

The reason the Emperor had to be dragonborn was so they could light the dragon fires, which is what stops the daedra from coming to Nirn freely. At the end of TES4 Oblivion, the way between Oblivion and Mundus is sealed forever, eliminating the need for dragonborn Emperors. In fact, canonically the main character of TES5 Skyrim is the last dragonborn. You're there for one purpose, and one purpose only. Kill Alduin.

What about a frost mage challenge?

Blaine Miller tht would be difficult cuz most enemies are frost resistant. But playing with ordinator can help with tht

Step 1: go find the ritual stone Step 2: kill a bunch of people and then use the bring back dead power and then if you need to add more peeps just wait 24 hours in game by pressing T, then revive the people you want aswell as the people who died altogether with the same power because the ritual stone power doesn’t disintegrate bodies like the necromancy spell does Step 3: use fodder lower enemies as your allies to kill big level enemies and use the power on them as well Step 4: Profit

No but you can with restoration. Though cant with alteration. Alteration should have a poison spell. But the one posion spell is RESTORATION.

You're about to get a bunch of subs, Good Luck. I bet you have about 100k next month. Conjuration was my favorite skill in Skyrim/Oblivion and spent hours using it and it only but as you can see in your video, even in the toughest situations enemies are not really a challenge anymore.

He skips all the dialogue and then blames the game for things that don’t make sense without the lore. The worst one in my opinion was how he said dragons reach was pointless because dragons had been gone for thousands of years so why would they build that. Well it was built thousands of years ago...

I often forget how shit Skyrim magic is without mods

Finally video where in challenge you don't wear armor. I saw Mitten squad video with scrolls and he was wearing armor and healed himself - this is not scrolls. I am so happy that in this video you don't wear anything or heal.

Mitten Squad plus you. This is a dream come true

one my second playthrough, i learned a nifty Destruction perk, "impact". it causes "dual-cast" spells (the same spell in both hands at once) to "stagger" enemies. with well-timed attacks, EVERY enemy is helpless. only TWO enemies in the ENTIRE GAME could not be staggered. surprisingly, one is Tsun! the other is Alduin himself. it's quite amusing to "stagger" other dragons. it won't make them fall out of the air, but but you can interrupt their Breath attacks, making them CHOKE!

This was a cool challenge idea, and I’m torn on using the bound weapons
