So, for the first Krauser fight, apparently there are two different triggers for the cutscene that ends the fight. They both rely on bringing him to 1 HP, but there’s two different ways to activate the cutscene. The first is what you did, which is stabbing him with a knife. The other is apparently parrying him. Though that still counts as a forced usage

I swear you always come here with amazing information - absolute GOAT 👑 That is very interesting - I assumed they would both be knife related, it must be that the trigger to get the cutscene to play relies on the knife hitting Krauser in some form 🤔

Krausers "story" was a nice and clever addition to this challenge. Awesome video as always!

Diablo is really good imo, and 4 is arguably the best entry. All of the Arpg aspects really shine. And to answer your question, your progress isn’t reset, but you need to start new characters for every season.

@ZEROistaken I'm actually just super surprised at how well the animations are, even though I know it's used from the window jumps, so it's a little janky still super fun to play with! Though I keep wondering where they get the Sprinting animation from 🤣 I ended up beating seperste ways in 39 minutes only because of the Sprint mod 🤣 I just wanted to see how fast I could do it LMAO

I think this perfectly shows that if Resident Evil didn't have the finnicky picky mechanic when you can melee and when not it would've been a lot easier to deal with the ammo shortage. Which would be fun to experience at least once, a good midway between hardly any ammo and infinite ammo.

Honestly that’s what was missing in this remake Leon’s unlocked hand to hand combat prowess. No stunning the enemy just straight kicks and jabs. The animated movies are canon re4 leading into re6 Leon just starts drop kicking and dodge rolling zombies like it’s another day in the office. It would make the beginning areas a breeze. The could’ve just upped the damage output of the enemies to balance it out

You know, I never thought about it like that. I like the idea of having a more melee focussed move set - you could have it work like the knife: used in specific situations, high risk high reward. What did you think of the animated RE movies? They’re not a bad watch IMO

certain enemies and bosses not taking damage was something I found out with a Wesker punches only run, very frustrating that you HAVE to deal damage with non unarmed attacks

You did a Wesker melee only run as well! I did one for Separate Ways. Weirdly enough SW didn't really have any enemies that were immune to melee damage - just seemed to be the main game.

I don’t know if you remember me but a few weeks ago I had requested a knife only challenge However I wanted to make this more interesting/fun Idk where you get your mods but if possible try to find a mod for krausers knife animation, it’ll make this run either fun or just full of laughter(btw only combat knife)

it's such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, but it is IMMENSELY refreshing to not do the whole "oh GOSH we CAN'T BEAT THE GAME WITH X CHALLENGE!!" where they google, do the despair joke, try some glitches, etc, then go "welp, guess we failed guys, whole video doesn't matter...." for the rest of the run, and the ending. Just a simple "yeah, there are story bits where this obviously wasn't intended, oh well, we all know what we're here for". There are times where it can make sense, and there is an aspect of "CAN you break the game and be able to do this?" but so many creators let it bog down the entire mood/trajectory of a video, to the point where I just close out when I see it now (especially with the new wave of people being inspired by the "OGs", who copy the tropes without understanding how, when, or why it's done. Small rant over, just got overly passionate cause I've been noticing that forever, and just hit the intro bit where you handwaved it LMFAO. Cheers, lots of respect and love for the videos! been binging basically all of them since the RE4R no running video popped off and hit my page!
