Not only that, her choices are amazing (except maybe Spiritomb wich is ok now). Having Garchomp, Milotic, Gastrodon, Roserade and Lucario on her team shows that she is the real deal in terms of team building

@@CrabKFP I would say spiritomb is a good pick since it’s kinda like an ancient relic, which Cynthia was all about the history shit. And in gen four having no weaknesses with actual offensive capabilities (sorry sableye) makes it well worthy

I’d genuinely love to play as Cynthia in a Sinnoh prequel, and follow her journey through Sinnoh. She gets her garchomp from a gible in wayward cave and you’re forced to capture one because of a cave-in and use dig to get yourself out. So many things you could do

Not to mention they could make it unique by de-aging prominent NPCs and maybe having Cynthia go to the gyms in a different order. Why not even add in a few Pokemon, you can say they used to be native but have moved out of the area by the time of the modern games.

If the parent is a different species the newly hatched Pokémon can be born with moves it wouldn't usually have access to. In Milotic's case it can only learn Mirror Coat from its parent of another species, probably Corsola.

For example, if you leave a female Charizard and male Dragonite with Wing Attack in the daycare, a Charmander will hatch with Wing Attack. Another example is HGSS Togepi has Extrasensory (the father would've been a Hoothoot or a Noctowl)

@@memelocks7066 moves that Pokes don't learn on their own but can be passed down by a parent. For example, Ribombee can learn stuff like Sticky Web from Garvantula, and some of the very popular sets of certain pokes require Egg moves. Azumarill is another good example, its Belly Drum set requires egg moves. The baby always follows the female's species, so you can cross compatible Pokes with the correct male to learn egg moves. Cynthia's Roserade is also a fantastic example, it can learn Sleep Powder from something like Bulbasaur, but on its own Budew only learns Stun Sore I think.

Well, yeah. Since gen 4, datamine has show that Cynthia has ALL of her Pokémon with perfect IVs. The remakes only ups that a bit with competitive items.

I gotta learn the art of finding Feebas one of these days. That thing when it evolves is pretty scary

The fact that most of her Pokémon are difficult to evolve or evolve via friendship, just shows how great a champion Cythia is and how much work she put into making her teams as strong as they could possibly be. She should have won against Ash. Change my mind.

Cynthia was going easy on Ash. Her Togekiss has Zen Headbutt so if she'd used Max Mindstorm after Dynamaxing, Lucario's Bullet Punch, the only attack Togekiss had to worry about, would have been useless. Cynthia threw the fight. Being the most powerful trainer in the world no doubt gets boring after a while.

If you ever need to waste a turn in battle you can use a healing item that won’t work. For example using a parz heal on a Pokémon that isn’t paralyzed. When you try to use the item it says, “But it failed” and then the opponent will attack. Doesn’t use the item either

10:47 it‘s not random anymore. There is an online tool to preview what tiles spawn Feebas and it‘s tied to the daily lottery number. Look it up. Also, this video‘s exactly what I was looking for. I‘m gonna do a playthrough as Cynthia, too!

Sometimes she likes to play with your emotions when she uses it when her Pokémon only loses a chunk of HP

Him giving his Dawn blond hair because her future version is Cynthia, is an adorable little feature.

She has one of the best rounded teams for a champ, for sure. This was a great idea, and fun to watch. Sidenote, Gible is so cute!

Yet another great video, I always love your commentary. I too realised how squishy Gible/Gabite were when tried to use them and they kept getting OHKO'd but she's now a big strong Garchomp and OHKO's most things herself now

Finally I wanted this to happen so long i Hope Alain will be next or something cool

I did this last week too. And I got spiritomb directly after gym 2. Feebas took me 6 hours, but was worth it. The team members I used the least were lucario and garchomp. They did have their use, but the others did it better. I was actually underleveled for the champion fight but still won.

The editing was really awesome bro, i rarely comment on vids but this one deserved it

I beat my Cynthia run today but I used Togekiss instead of Milotic which was easily as brutal bc I had to use pick up to get two shiny stones and do another Friendship evo. Well worth it though bc it was a fun challenge

everytime i fight cynthia i always bring... 1: the tankiest pokemon i have access too at all times. 2: a pokemon with calm mind, have the set to do damage, speed, and tank, and bring x speed. 3: make sure the next pokemon cynthia brings out is milotic; so you can set up 4: set up 6 calm minds, use full restores 5: after all 6 calm minds are set up use full restore if low, if not use x speed. 6: spam 1 move to ohko cynthias remaining 5 pokemon. 7: win this is called my 7 rule strategy

I’m so glad my friendship saved my last Pokémon on 1hp to beat her on my first try. Still counting my blessings

The only way I was able to beat Cynthia was with destiny bond on Gengar but her Garchomp outsped my whole team so I had to keep reviving my Luxray and Staravia and lowering her garchomp’s attack. It was such a close fight

I'm not convinced his team lvl 100 with competitive set, ev spread and items could beat final rematch cynthia. Pikachu is a useless Pokemon and the rest of his mons are pretty bad as well, other than Snorlax. Red was only difficult because his Pokemon was such high levels.

Okay yeah after you explained all the crap you went through for this team I subscribed man, as someone who almost always uses steel only teams now I can understand some of this frustration but I didn’t know feebas/spiritombwas this hard to get. I actually plan on using another account to do a Paul’s team only run (ash’s rival in the show in this region) but at least that’ll be much easier than this challenge
