​@@mchanna06Might be a gecko/AR code out there that makes the red onion sprout blues. I noticed he was in the Forest Navel on Day 2 during some of the b-roll footage, so he has some method of using codes, or at least accessing FN early.

@@pressaTD Since you get blues so much later in the run, perhaps try doing a low% run until you get to them, prioritizing parts that are clearly accessible for Blues, even if you don't have them. That way you can go back and see if all the parts are collectible by them. Otherwise its a "can I beat the last 50% of Pikmin using only blues", which isn't as challenging. Although that's probably already your plan, but just in case I wanted to mention that would be the most satisfying way of doing it. Just like how in this video I don't mind day 1 not using yellows because I know it could be done with them anyways.

5:41 Not once have I ever collected the Gravity Jumper by bringing blues around back. I always thought just throwing Pikmin up there was the intended way

This was insane! I watched Mr. Lemon's video and I thought it was a real shame that it seemed impossible, especially since even getting the 19 parts appeared to be EXTREMELY difficult. I'm so glad that you could help bring a conclusion to this tale.

To reiterate what Meeo said, it's a shame you ran out of days because with yellow only, FT is near trivial. I was impressed that you actually got ADF since it is by far the hardest part for this run (2nd in red only). I'm glad you made this since I was disappointed by the Backlogs video, I guess they weren't aware of my/ the strats.

I know I was a little disappointed not getting to try the final trial but I was just happy to get all the mandatory parts. And yeah ADF was super intimidating, I was shocked I was actually able to get it, but it was all thanks to your strats lol

I'm glad someone aware of the Red Pikmin Only Challenge tried this. The groundwork is all there, and it's even easier than Red Pikmin Only. It's super sad you ran out of days, even one day to spare would have been enough to collect every ship part!

Just a little detail i noticed. At 6:30 you used a blue pellet to do the job of the blue pikmin. In this run it was a yellow one. Continuing the "only yellow" theme of the run. Great Video. I enjoy every single one of them! Keep up the good work

You also don't have to nudge the Libra, if you just throw your Yellows to the middle platform before walking up. Cleaner movement would make FoH possible to clear in 2 days instead of 3, and about 4 years ago, Mokaygee found a glitch that allowed him to beat it in 1. That alone would allow for a 1 (or 2) day Final Trial. I imagine that better routing and better nudging would give you a handful more days in FN and DS. Definitely possible, but not easy. My question, is could you get the Anti-Dioxin Filter faster by pushing it to the Bombrocks?

Yeah I always thought the water there was more so to force you to put pikmin on top of the box and then direct them to the back of it from the water.

Great effort! Pikmin was my favorite game as a kid and I remember a lot of these glitches and shortcuts and nuances of the game, like how the ship parts will do the waypoint finding, but you introduced some new ones to me! My jaw dropped at your day 2 pellet pop trick 😂 My claim to fame is that I've beaten Pikmin 1-3 all with no-death runs multiple times out of habit I'm going to start working on my glitch moves, ill let you know when I manage 100% only yellows!

I don't know if anyone else even noticed or if it's an accent thing or something but I kept getting distracted by the way he says k and g sounds. When he says take it sounds like tate, when he says breadbug it sounds like breadbu or breadbut, when he says wollywog it sounds like wollywod, when he says dioxin it sounds like diotsin, when he says fact it sounds like fat. I'm not trying to make fun and I'm still massively impressed by what he's done, I just kept losing focus when he said certain words

TheBacklogs is notoriously bad at actually executing pretty basic ideas. Not saying this is easy, but it seems that being ineffective is a recurring theme of his.

This game is hard enough, doing it with only yellow pikmin seems brutal, I'm amazed people have managed to do this, even though i haven't played this game for a long time, i remember how brutally difficult the game became in the end game, especially when going for 100%.

Considering how insane some of the nudges are and how arcane the knowledge for the waypoint reset is I don't think he should blame himself for jt

I'd love to see it TAS'd to see how optimised it can get. All parts seems more than possible

Seeing how far you got, I'm 100% positive you could "easily" get all 30 parts before the days were up.

the tragic part about this vid is the final trial is extremely easy with only yellows but nigh-impossible with only blues or reds (requires insane bomb rock placement rng)

I have literally never used blue pikmin to get the gravity jumper. My brain never saw it as a possibility, I just always used yellows. And only used the back bridge to get bombs. How on earth did I never realize that you can get it with blues?

Those bulbmin things are cute. I don't know what they're called and I've never played this game. But I wish I were some kind of bulbmin bug thing. So beautiful...
