Yo Its the only time hammer throw would actually be useful
I have to wonder. How difficult would it be if one was to do a run of the game, but not be allowed to swap partners period unless it's mandatory? By that I mean, what events in the game locks you in a party member or forces you to swap into a specific party member also determines who''s your party member effectively disabling the party member swap function in battle.

Interesting. So you'd essentially need to fight with only the partner you were last forced to use... I don't imagine it'd be too challenging though. You may have less than favorable matchups for bosses like Magnus von Grapple 1 (Koops), but you'd definitely be forced to see Yoshi be used for a number of challenging bosses (Smorg and the bosses from Grodus and onward). It'd be interesting though to see how one would need to manage items as you likely wouldn't be allowed to leave Chapter 8 since that's not ever required.
thing is you also did Mario and hammer only, you didn't use any support moves either like shell shield and veil as well as a 2nd item per turn etc also I figured out that leveling up on Grodus is a good idea with like 12 ^^"

I was thinking how many Flutter Jumps with Yoshi you have to do to beat the game, I believe its less than 7.

Why was I thinking about the overworld? Movement there is pretty simple and definitely takes a hop or two.

No, you can't. The badge can't be bought from the parlor until well after you can grab it on Twilight Trail unless you go through the hassle of using glitches. Items and Quake Hammer also tend to do Hammer Throw's job better in my opinion, seeing it's only single-target and no bosses are airborne.

I like your Paper Mario TTYD videos, but I have a really, really hard time understanding what you are saying most of the time. Speed in itself isn't the problem (I usually have next to no problems understanding spoken English), but to me it seems that you tend to mash a lot of words together where even slowing the video down doesn't solve the issue for me. I have to focus hard and listen really intently to understand you which makes it pretty much impossible for me to follow along while I'm doing something else (like working). I do not mean any offense, and I would be happy if you would take my comment into consideration. Happy gaming!

I tend to add captions to my videos knowing that. Speech impediments make just recording difficult, let alone trying to re-record where I don't stumble every 4th or 5th word.
