What about a "Can you No Trace every mission in MGSV?" No Traces is such a fun challenge, makes you feel like the God of Stealth. For the Malik mission, just follow the tank, they'll eventually stop to shoo a herd of sheep, then you Fulton the tank and then grab Malik, simple

@@redfoxrpg I can give a bit of info for some of those types of runs since I was helping someone else plan an OSP only run a few years back-it ends up being that some missions are nigh impossible or actually straight up impossible if you put too many rules on them, with I think the sahelanthropus missions and against some of the skulls especially being hard/impossible with OSP only stuff since some of them start you in combat and you have to fight the things without any weapons since you're launched straight into the mission. No Traces I don't think is possible for some missions either, though I suppose they could be waived as boss encounters or similar things where you are thrown into alerts via cutscene/story stuff

@@bodieshofner8566 But it's still a very fun challenge to go for No Traces, it's not just shooting people I'm the head with a tranq gun, you literally can't touch anyone, can't use items, can't use guns and can't be detected, it's just you and your knowledge of stealth, you can hold enemies up though, but that's it

The reason why it's called the R Launcher might be because the gun it's inspired by, the Carl Gustav, is classified as a recoilless rifle instead of a rocket launcher because the round doesn't have its own propellant and instead relies of copious amounts of gunpowder like you're just lugging around a big tank gun on your back.

this video specifically inspired me to try al these challenges, where I'm limited to the mechanics that each game has. for example, with mgs1 no crouch walking, limited CQC, no first person aiming except with the sniper rifle, etc

MGS 1 has crouch walking. All the MGS games have crouch walking. It's called the cardboard box. Use it, walk with it while wearing it, that's crouch walking.

Sorry the wait was so ridiculously long, but I hope it was worth! Ground Zeroes was an absolutely fantastic game and is honestly in my top 3, at least top 5 favorite MGS games

You should do beating MGSV with no HUD,no crouch walking and weapon from GZ (the first AM MRS 4 and the WU pistol with integral suppressor and 7 round mag)

Always had this idea Beat mgs5 pp without using any items from mother base Basically substinance style Only allowed to use weapons/items/vehicles found on destroy Tank mission? Yoink a enemy rocket launcher or weapon emplacement and yeet the tank to outer heaven Extract target? Put em in vehicle u "borrowed" from enemy and exit via hot zone. Fulton come from mother base so could or could not be used depend on you

great stuff once again bro! also glad that my tip for BUBD helped you (even tho you LOL'd the first attempt 😅)! for the grey fox run, I recommend for missions Phantom Limbs, Traitors' Caravan, Code Talker and Metallic Archaea to CQC the skulls soldiers and snipers (exclusive yo the mission Code Talker) because they have unique CQC animations which would fit the Grey Fox run. Wouldn't recommend killing them through CQC as the prompt for those animations take a while to set up because they need to melee attack you and you can get shot by one of them while waiting for the melee attack, plus they don't deal much damage, but it you find an opportunity to lure out a melee attack, go for it, the CQC will prompt just as you're about to get hit. the animations and counters looks very sick!

Yo mb for not seeing this on release. Nice. Excited for the next run. Maybe you could try a run where you can only use enemy gear (pretty sure R1 then L1 to disarm and take enemy weapons) Quiet counts (and vehicles) btw since she’s technically an enemy. You don’t have you do this but just thought of it. Good run like the mgs3 big boss run.

Only watched a few minutes in but I found an error in your challange. Technically you never laid out this rule, but I think it fits: You should customize weapons so they are as close as possible to their GZ counter-parts. Some example: AM-MRS-4 is level one with the level three barrel, the US flashlight attachment and a medium suppressor. AM-MRS-4R is just the standard level three but without the option to have any suppressor. WU Silent Pistol is level five without the long magazine and flash-laser attachment. Broughton M-2000D is level one with a different scope that matches the scope it has in GZ.

You also shouldn't Fulton anything (unless the story demands it). And you can use your chopper as support since that is possible in GZ. However, its engines should only be level one, and no armor. If I remember correctly the GZ chopper does have rockets, and as it woule have unlimited ammo you may as well use the best upgrade for the rocket launchers. Unless I misremember and it didn't have rocket launchers in GZ.

I don’t want to ask him to re-do, but in Peacewalker Snake mentions that he hates electrical cigarettes. Kinda weird he’d be allowed them in this run.

What if you tried to beat the game as stealthy as possible… While wearing outfits that stood out the MOST in the areas you’re in? Any items / weapons go as long as they can keep you in stealth.

Next run during Backup Back down of you set a trap on the wrong road? Just go to your Idroid to look at the VPR (vehicle predicted route) no sweat

I have just ended the naked snake video and now theres more :D

In mission 0, you can actually put Miller on Diamond Horse, sneak pass the skulls and then call Diamond Horse to your position.

I didn't actually, it's been awhile since I did it, but I think there's a side op to recruit Kojima as part of your team and its the same mission as the Kaz rescue save its with Kojima instead

Many Questions: Why did you basically Ignore the whole “Custom Weapons to recreate the builds” like in the Original Solid Snake run? The only suppresed weapons where the Rifle and SMG as well as the Tranq This is just “Mgsv with only a few weapons” not really any special theming

You should play mgsV as venom from mission 1

Ever thought of doing one of these but as naked Snake from Peace Walker.

Good suggestion! I’ve considered other MGS characters including the main playable character of every entry, but I’ve got lots of suggestions to go through first like an Ocelot run, a Boss run, Quiet, the Cobras, etc etc, and also now definitely this one😉

Love your vids Here is my idea, a boss run You would have to play a female character using the bosses sneaking suit (the white one that is dlc) Use a fun similar to the patriot and cqc only You get d-horse tho since she has one This would show most problems in the fact we don’t know what else she would use but think you can figure out the rest that will make it fair and fun. I just think having one fun non scilenced and cqc only would be a interesting idea to see if it is possible
