omg let me introduce you to the courier in skyrim....those fuckers are relentless, that guy broke the script barrier and appeared to me right after i killed ALDUIN in SOVENGAARD to give me a letter that said me some guy my dragonborn never heard of died and left 6 coins to his name....6 coins....my total sum was about 70.000 coins (adding the loot i that was too expensive to sell without mods)..... i was supposed to talk to the other chosen who can use the thu'um after the boss fight but i followed the courier and he was going in circles at heavens realm...so let me get this straight...he took his job so seriously that he fought and died in brutal combat so he can enter enter sovengaard and somehow managed to bring a letter with him and right there he retired OR he found, fought, humiliated, convinced and rode a dragon up to the mountain i was and followed the trail of death behind me to give me that letter but decided to stay for a little while to enjoy the heavenly skybox.....lol wtf... i don't know if this was a glitch or someone at bethesda said it would be funny to not restrain him and let him follow someone even there

@koel700 He is very dedicated to his job, but he isn't as terrifying since you can also sprint. Fallout 3 you can't really sprint besides a normal jog, which is more terrifying

This was the best one due to how many close calls there were. The one I was disappointed with the rest of the runs is how once you give them the initial slip they're basically gone for the rest of the video.

I love these chase runs, as do a lot of other viewers, but if you feel like doing another one in the future, why not we step it up a notch? We all know by now you can beat new vegas while being chased by malcolm holmes, but... can you complete The Legend of the Star while being chased by malcolm holmes? I think _that_ would be an interesting challenge.

Doctor Preston being referred to as “Doctor another settlement needs our help” had me on the floor for a while lol

Helping Walter in Megaton to repair the broken pipes (which requires 30 repair) gets you a quick 200 caps and 100 XP, hope this helps for any future fallout 3 runs. Also the way Victoria walked around with a knife in Rivet City is so much scarier than any of the other chasers

I remember once I was playing Fallout 3 and I entered Pinkerton's lab from the underwater entrance As I was swimming through the water, keeping an eye on the oxygen meter, I suddenly saw Victoria Watts swimming towards me out of nowhere Needless to say I shat bricks

A run that I've actually done before, and had a blast with- Fallout 4 with only intimidation/hacking perks. You have to be at the game by pressing enemies into your service, and forcing them to kill each other. Freeing Preston was hard. The greentech courser was nearly impossible, but doable. I commanded SWAN! IT WAS A BLAST.

This actually sounds hilarious in a lot of different ways. Just get all the social perks that let you command mutated animals, people, mutants and monsters and create a small army. Animals are canon fodder, Super Mutants and Raiders are shock troops, and then you send in a Deathclaw AND Swan. I could also just imagine a zerg-rush with all kinds of the mutated animals or heck, even GHOULS(points for Glowing Ones in the mix). With ghouls, they'd probably end up stunlocked to death.

@@Maniacman2030 So, as AMAZING as that sounds (and Mitten Squad did something similar) with the vanilla game you an only have 1 at a time! 😭 It's one of many limitations of the run, but it does make it more interesting 😉

You can but it's very risky, since you'll need to have the npc's chasing you inside the train heading for vegas along with you.

[sleeping npcs - i.e. sleeping characters that can *supposedly* follow you to the ends of the earth when interacted with while sleeping] optional challenge #1: complete the following quests related to the named characters after they start chasing you in order to agitate them even more (more or less for roleplay purposes): - Tenpenny Tower - side with the ghouls or wipe everyone at the tower out by yourself (Burke) - The Legend of the Star + A Valuable Lesson - take as many stars from the final room as possible as well as the pew-pew; bonus objective - use the janitor mr. handy to take as many caps as possible to show the power of greed (Holmes) - Boulder City Showdown - the ending doesn't matter because he would dislike either letting the khans go peacefully or killing the ncr soldiers (Kowalski) - [only assuming this doesn't stop her from chasing you, otherwise just complete any quest in Rivet City in a manner that would theoretically anger *someone else* ] The Replicated Man - side with dr. zimmer or restore Harkness' memory, what harkness does next doesn't matter as long as it ruins her plans (Victoria) - any quest that can be obtained in the area where the sleeping npcs are found, at least 1 quest has to be completed and the outcome depends on the chasing npc (the goal is to agitate them so the outcome has to be something that npc would dislike or hate optional challenge #2: install the mods that make father elijah and joshua graham chase and confront you after dead money (requires sparing and trapping elijah in the vault) and honest hearts (requires killing the sorrows and dead horses and fleeing utah); the version of the mod doesn't matter, it can either be the version where they only appear once or the version where they reapawn after they die and a few days pass, depends on the difficulty you want

That's how she works? She popped up for me in the middle of Big Town, so I thought it was a weird coincidence, and I thought the synth was in Big Town

Given how good this one was due to the close calls, I would say an absolute yes on the Open Cities + Courier Skyrim run. You've beaten the rest, now you have to beat the best.

There is actually an interesting reason for why you do not explore the northern part of the map during normal gameplay: the map was originally half the size. It was expanded for the final version but then they ran out of time to do anything meaningful with it. Go figure.

Anytime it's a Fallout 3 challenge, I have to watch it immediately. Love this game so much. Definitely my favourite Fallout. It feels like home to me.

It would be much better if just, the entirety of DC were cleaned up a little.

So not long after this video came out, I was doing the final mission of Fallout 3 (via Tale of Two Wastelands). An Enclave artillery shell exploded near Liberty Prime, and I get a notification. Some Enclave artilleryman managed to snipe and knock out none other than Victoria Watts. I do not know why she needed to talk to me during this battle, but she is truly relentless.

You know, being chased by people really does make one wonder if you can beat any fallout game if YOU are the chaser and everyone else is trying to keep away from you.

Let's gooo! Another excellent chase run that had some close calls! I'm still curious, with the TTW mod, it combines both DC and Vegas worldspaces, I wonder if the mod allows npc's to travel to both wastelands? If so, Can You Beat TTW while being Chased by Everyone? So this would mean Malcolm, Kowalski, Fisto, Burke, The Kid from the Those! Quest, and Watts. It would be up to you if you got everyone following you then completed both stories, or did 3, go to New Vegas, then complete it

Basically the "invincible snail that will kill you when you touch it" thing but in fallout 3

I wish these “chased by” videos were the entire play through because I would watch every second.

I have an interesting video idea: Can you beat Fallout 4 as Neo from The Matrix? As for the rules don't really know. Maybe: -you can only use the 9mm pistol or your fists -you can only fight under the influence of Jet -you need to wear a black coat (maybe the silver shroud coat) and sunglasses What do you think?

I've actually managed to have Glarthir follow me out of Skingrad while playing Oblivoon. I'd say it'd be cool for a video, but he immediately catches up upon waiting an hour and breaks if you enter an Oblivion Gate.

At 3:44 when Victoria walks out in front of you for the first time, that moment really needed the Mr. X music from RE2Remake to start playing! 😂

I had a fun moment last time I played Fallout 3. I had started the quest and asked questions of almost everyone on the ship. I went outside and got into the front half of the ship, and while I faffed about looking for the switch that opens the door to Zimmerman's hideout, I heard explosions from above. Shortly afterwards, a crippled Victoria stumbles up to me and gives me the normal talk, then hobbles away.

Your videos are great, I have watched every single video minimum 3 times, keep up the great work! But can you beat Fallout 4 with only the Commie Wacker?

Tbh I'm surprised you did this, this is probably one of the most forgettable characters and yet you made entertainment out of it anyway, thank you for the content

After the video ended Nerbit could have said "no you can't beat broken steel while being chased by Victoria Watts" still a fun chase.

That shot at the end of the guy wearing nothing but a power armor helmet swinging the super sledge into her back is perfectly chaotic.

You'll have to make a video where you're chased by all of the chasing NPCs all at the same time. That should be a true challenge.

For the courier in Skyrim, you could talk to Aventus and then kill Grelod. That way he tries to give you the “We know” note. I’m sure you won’t be sleeping in that run anyway.

"It Follows" is the only thought I get seeing her walk through that hallway.

I remember being literally underwater the first time this NPC popped up and started talking to me, in a hilariously Oblivion-esque moment of the radiant AI managing to be less immersive but much funnier than a purely scripted event.

She felt like a slasher movie villain in River City, the way she was always popping up at you.

Nerbit coming in with a W. Can you beat Fallout 4 without stimpacks? Normal or harder difficulty, only food items. I'm heavily dependant on Stimpacks, so I've always found it annoying to heal with other methods, but I'm sure there's a way to make it fun, plus, you'd get to use whatever weapons you'd want, whatever build, just healing in a different way.

In my experience, the Skyrim courier will never follow you too far away from civilization. For the most part it is just dodging him in cities.

An interesting challenge idea you might like is "Beat Fallout 4 as the minuteman" Pretty much just play the game as Preston so you're restricted to the Laser Musket, need to help Minutemen, find the fake Preston and take his clothes, and clear out the Gunners that attacked the minutemen. No need to do radiant quests of course This'll give you a chance to show those Laser Musket skills

what made me think after watching these "chased by" series. What about the Courier in skyrim ? or other NPC in that game. there are no one that follow you like in fallout, but the Courier comes closes as they follow you very persistent and can trigger at random, that would be a fun addition

what a wonderful thing to see in my notifs after accidently making finish pancakes

Skyrim Minecraft Challenge; you must only use items you craft yourself; No looting, No purchasing, not even materials; you have to gather those yourself. You can loot the pickaxe, fishing rod, and woodcutter's axe you need to get started, but everything else you use for combat MUST be crafted by you, with materials you gathered yourself. The only horse you're allowed to use is the dwemer automoton, as that's the only one you can craft. No fast Travel. You must construct a fully functioning house and only use that one for your home, and optionally, add all crafting stations. Then you must complete the main quest with only weapons and armor you crafted yourself from materials you mined/gathered yourself. Any gold you need to complete these goals, like buying the plot of land for the house, must be purchased in true minecraft fashion; with emeralds. Mine them, refine them, sell them without making jewelry. Alternatively, you can sell other things you've made, as long as you do not purchase any gear, potions, food, or materials, but you have to keep all septims as emeralds untill you have to spend them, spending them all into emeralds at, say, kahjiit traders, or general goods stores. You MAY purchase training, but again, only with emeralds you mine. Alternatively, you can nix the purchasing training all together for extra challenge, or mine and smelt gold bars instead of emeralds for less challenge.
