Once you learn how to dodge radahn none of his attacks feel bs and it feels like a nice flow

Good tip from someone who’s somewhat decent at the game, minimize your flask useage. You don’t always need full health, just enough to where you know you can survive the next hit or two and not die, then fully heal up if you absolutely need to. Also dodging slightly left or right of the enemy makes dodging easier for hits to miss you and punish the enemies moves.

My initial play through I used the talisman that makes you do more damage when you are at full hp (I don’t remember what it’s called) so it’s kind of a habit but I’m trying to work on that That’s for the tips I’ll do my best to get better at both of those

easily one of my top 5 new dlc weapons, the ash is so silly. thank you for making this video. (i'm not done with the vid yet, but in case you didnt know, the ash has an R2 follow-up as well as the L2 follow-up)

i love this weapon its so fun cool vid!!

I'm a little disappointed with the "death" themed weapons in the DLC. In base game you got some really awesome shitkickers like Death Ritual Spear and Death Poker. Death Poker being honestly one of the most versatile weapons in the game. In the DLC? You get two weapons which barely do any damage and use recycled ashes of war without the ability to be infused with ashes and probably the worst movesets for those weapons. Considering there was an entire area (Charo's Hidden Grave) with a slight tie-in theme (Cerulean Coast) multiple Death Bird based themed items, as well as entire swaths of the game centered around the theme of death I'm honestly shocked stupid they dropped the ball this hard. Putrescent Cleaver is just another example of how weird the scaling is. You have a legitimate _death boss_ that uses _death themed spells_ which follow the traditional Int/Fai scaling of _death_ spells. The weapon? Scales with **ARCANE.** Bruh, Arcane has enough. Probably one of the best things to come from the DLC was Ghostflame Call which gave Death Poker's ability to _any_ weapon you want. I find Death theme's ramshackle to be charming, but there could have been some more love.

I haven’t used any of the new death items other than the cleaver and don’t get me wrong the cleaver can put in some work but there is definitely a lack of death themed weapons /spells / incantations and for the ones that we got there just not up to par with some of the other weapons in the dlc that I have seen

Arcane has enough? Go over incants and weapons and see how many require arcane. And it's mostly status stuff. Probably just needed non copypasted moveset with reskin aow and yeah more death and Godwyn stuff. I also don't get why this weapons scales off of arcane, but I'm not complaining. Meteoric ore greatsword best arcane thing to come out of dlc imo. And still not that unique

Tbh I decided to parry him to challenge myself and even now I don’t really know if it’s impressive to do as I’ve seen many people say parrying is op or they say its parry abusing then I see other people say parrying is hard thing to do so I’m not really sure but I appreciate it nonetheless the less

if you walk along the left of liurnia you can buy somber stones 1 2 3 and 4 from iji

To be honest I haven’t played the game enough to know if waiting till your able to obtain the shard of Alexander is worth it since you can’t get it till almost the end of the game and with it being only a 5% damage increase from the warrior shard

It’s not worth waiting. You miss out on so much damage for 95% of the game if you don’t get it right away. If you were planning an NG+ run it would make sense.

If it’s during boss fights or when I’m picking up items I tend to not talk very much but if it’s when I’m doing the commentary I will try to work on that and improve

So the shackle isn’t something I really thought about but I might start using it just to showcase ash of wars that are harder to get off As for golden vow the reason I’m using it on a dagger is because I didn’t plan on putting points into faith and using the Ash of war makes it so I don’t need any faith

Yes it’s better but it is only a 5% damage buff that you don’t get till ur almost done with the game If this was a character I was playing for a long time I would 100% wait and get Alexander’s shard but for the video it’s just better for me to get the jar shard early

I'd have to guess that anyone (as the "you" in the title could be addressing anyone) _could_ beat the game with just about any weapon since some people have beat it with _no weapon_ but I'll be watching this video in the morning anyways

I agree there is really no point in putting the title as that but at the same time maybe not everyone could use this weapon and beat the game because every weapon is different from how much damage they do to the speed of there normal and heavy attacks so on and so forth So the reason the title is like that is because for people who aren’t that good at the game “like myself” see this video and can decide if they wanna use it But all that being said I will think of different ways to title the future videos
